Ha, Ha , Ha.

This is a £399 laptop selling for £399.

This was posted a week or so back, and I searched the web and could not find one web site selling this for £599.

In fact I could not find many sites selling it at all.

This laptop may have been made specifically for PC World by HP for the Xmas sale.

My guess is HP & PC World did a deal where it was sold in one PC World shop before Christmas for £599 and then "reduced" to £399 in all PC World shops to they could say "save £200".

Ok price, nothing special.

About the going rate for the spec - just missed out on the samsung hotukdeals.com/ite…=11 now up to £399 also

It would be a reasonable deal at £349 or less.

Not a bad price, but worth waiting a week or so for the Core i3, and i5 laptops on the way.

Cheers for the comments so far. I'd consider a desktop if I could find one same price or less with better spec. Best I've seen on here over the last few days is that Compaq one at Tesco and there seems to be a bit of ambiguity over the spec. Again, if anyone has any input to help me out, rep coming your way. cheers

I think unless some heat hits the thread though, I'll keep my eye out for a better deal

Take note!
If the OS is 32 bit it will only "see" 3gb of the 4gb ram.
Therefore you are paying for 4gb but can only use 3gb.

No, it was £599 (which is massively inflated) - they even sold a few at that price...

It'll have Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit installed.
