HP cashback is straightforward, but make sure you read the T&C and abide by them. They have kindly given me £300 for a phone and another £300 for a computer, but they were trade-in offers.

Not Duplex, which is a must.

Been looking at replacing my AOI HP Inkjet for a while as it has been the worst printer that I have ever bought (disclaimer I have only owned 2! (lol))

Anyone know what the toner prices are like, and if it picky with them? Don't want to be buying one only to find out that the cheap replacements don't work!

You can also claim an additional £40 cashback here:h41201.www4.hp.com/WMC…ls/

Bringing the net cost of this Printer to just £39.99, but is this better than this? currys.co.uk/gbu…tml

Check ink prices first, they cost more than the printer

Seems the current standard price rather than a deal price. Same price at Currys / PCW and Very, but Currys mention the £40 cashback deal via HP.

£40 HP cashback mentioned at Currys product page. Not sure if also applies to Argos purchases? currys.co.uk/gbu…tml

The Samsung has bigger cartridges (1,800 pages vs 1,000 pages on the HP) while only being marginally more expensive. The HP has an Ethernet port in addition to WiFi connectivity.

Thanks for your help

Think I'll opt for the Samsung now, probably will print once every couple of months so the less I need to change the toner the better!

Actually scratch that. The cheap cartridges on Ebay are all p/n 111S, which are up to 1,000pages. The 1,800 pages cartridges, which are p/n: 111L, are all double the price or more.

Keeping in mind that Samsung appear to no longer be making printers, they apparently flogged their printer division to HP, I would suggest getting the HP Laserjet printer.

Ah, interesting. Luckily I held out for Amazon to drop their price for the Samsung Printer. Guess I'll be picking up the HP then! Thanks for the info, much appreciated!

Aaawwww, now look what you've made me buy!

LAN network printing does it for me if it has that RJ45 port.WiFi is nothing but pain in my experience! NB. Samsung printer division is now owned by HPand serviced by HP!

Looks a good price

Pretty amazing for the price, only problem is my dad wants a colour one!

Just noticed that Amazon has dropped their prices too, but does anyone know if I will still be eligible for cashback? If I can still get the £40, then I may as well get it delivered.

The T&C doesn't mention anything about vendors, so should I be fine? h41201.www4.hp.com/wmc…-31

Does anyone know how big the box is for these? I only have bicycle and trailer for transport. I can carry a hell of a lot of stuff with it, but I suspect this box may be just a little too big. I know I can have it delivered, but that's not without problems too,

Has the cashback finished it's states 31/10/17 on hp site

Can someone confirm if purchase from Argos will qualify for £40 cashback at HP?

I have now searched HP authorised resellers and Argos is listed as one of HP authorised resellers.
Thanks Summoner

It's available at Amazon now, but I'm not sure Amazon as seller will be eligible for cashback.

Just Spoke to HP Promotion. Amazon is not an authorised HP retailer.

Not sure either, but I have just placed an order with them as I had a £10 voucher. So I might get the printer for £29.99, or have to pay £69.99 but either way it isn't too bad.

But the £40 would be nice though!

As you said £69 is still a good deal. Near where I live niether Argos or Currys (authorised ones) have this in stock. You can always cancel your purchase if you find it in Argos, as some still have it for collection, like Argos Bracknell!

Finally have gotten around to setting this up. Was a bit of a faff if I am honest, compared to my old printer. Didn't realise that the screen wasn't even backlit when I was ordering.

But the must frustrating thing I have found is that it doesn't support AirPrint. After having it on my last printer, I am used to printing directly from websites, emails and texts on my iPhone/iPod. Google Cloud Printing doesn't seem to work either, so now I am not sure whether or not I want to keep it - especially given that I don't have the extra £40 off.

Guess I should have paid more attention to the fine print

Now £149.99 minus £40 HP cashback = £109.99 (you hope!)
