Looking for a new one, time for a trip to the store to decide if this is fit for purpose. Need something that can take some extra weight other than the 15.6 inch laptop.
Got mine reserved. Although product reviews from existing users seem to be good and positive yet I will check it at the time of collection.
Internal capacity is limited depending on how much tech you carry....its actually quite small....gym kit and not a lot else. Also within a few moths the stitching around the lid split around mine. I'd say decent value for £19.99.
green available for same price and free delivery
is this bag waterproof?
All I can see is a small picture of some splashes on the bag and nothing else is stated on the specification.

I'm pretty sure it's designed to carry a laptop, not a laptop plus spare set of clothing and 2 litres of water.

I have had 2-3 laptop bags from HP in the last 15+ years and they have always had some spare space for lunch, water, brolly and a spare wind cheater
Bought thanks.

I have been using a Wenger bag over 5 years now, and its still as good as new. I fit my laptop, lunch & water bottle. There is enough space that I can additionally stuff my softshell jacket when its warm.

I saw a couple of models of Wengers in Tk maxx(Leeds crownpoint - Note that Tk maxx never have the same items across their stores) in the past month with price of £30(similar to the one I have) and £40
Have been a longtime user of Dakine bags which are very durable, and good capacity. Just now looking for a replacement but would like a little more storage. This one looks a bit too flashy, not durable enough and too small for my liking. However the Dakine bags cost a lot more. I also want a bit more security next time as the front pockets are a bit too 'fish-able'.

Well if world is supposed to go green .. Isnt it possible to make expanding pack ? Strapped down to size required at time ? If l want pack for laptop, bike, shops and carry on cabin luggage. 40 litres is far more useable than 20 litre.

I too use dakine for the supposed lifetime warranty though I've never had to use it so not sure how true it holds, but yes they have lots of pockets etc which is a plus. It's worth keep eye on Amazon as they sometime price drop. I paid £65 for my 101 off dakine website but few months later other colorway for same backpack was on Amazon for £30
Same with the duel

Yes exactly the 101, first one I got was £50 at snow and rock. Second one I'm on now from amazon. £30 would have been a great price though. I notice now they don't have the waist clip which is no great loss as I always seem to get it caught in the car door..
Check the size of your laptop, some are bigger than others.

Thanks will have a look at TKM. Your advice is appreciated.
If rather carry mine in a non laptop bag rather than advertise to all that I'm carrying an expensive piece of kit

+1 for wenger. Get one with the riveted cable handle and it will last a lifetime. Been using mine for years and still as good as new. Daily carrier, and great as a weekend away backpack
Thanks OP. Just managed to reserve one for my sons laptop!

Why stop there? Where's the room for my weekly groceries, a bag of cat litter and a couple of spare tyres for my bike? And if we wan't to go green, I need to take all that tofu and vegan cheese with me on one go.

I need at least 70 litres, but maybe, just maybe, I wouldn't be looking for a LAPTOP BAG then?
Got mine from my local. A bit ugly but well made.
Any nice backpacks for alienware r5 17"?

Thats good to know. I bought a 15.6 inch laptop bag from Currys for about £15 some years ago. Swordfish brand btw. Its been used to lug 7kg of clothes to Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Cambodia Singapore and more as I never trust the suitcases to arrive and sometimes they havnt. Its pretty tatty now but sadly I cant replace it with this one.
