ink prices?

It takes the 920XL high yield carts (£35 for a full set off Amazon before Christmas).
Edited by: "BargainMad" 6th Apr 2011

Ink prices for compatibles are quite reasonable too. On eBay you can get 2 sets of the high capacity cartridges for £19.00 (LINK) delivered.

People are also selling these for £204.54 +p&p on eBay too!! HOT DEAL FOR ME.

Thanks, I'll know where to get my replacement cartridges from.

Great price, much much.... better than those crap/throw away £30 Photosmart all-in-one printers.
Edited by: "SUMMONER" 6th Apr 2011

Looks good, and fantastic price even without the rebate.

Should allow me to get rid of the rubbish Belkin Play Max router that I was hoping would let me use my printer across my network ....

Great deal, heat added. I bought a 6500A at the end of February but the cash-back deal wasn't advertised then. Have just registered it in the hope that they don't look at my invoice date too carefully! :-)

Great printer though.

Oh right , thanks .

Checking the reviews, print quality isn't the best but given the price and it's role (it's an OfficeJet) a very good buy.

Excellent price. Like to ADF (Automatic document feeder) option. From the description it looks like the scanner can be used in wifi mode. Can anyone confim this?

this one! or this Epson Stylus SX515W High-Speed All-in-One Printer with Individual Inks and Wi-Fi (and wait for it to £45 again)?

Having looked at the instructions, you can scan over wi-fi to a computer directly from the printer. Alternatively, you can scan directly from the printer to an SD card or from the computer.

There is also the OfficeJet Pro 8500A for £180 (can get the same £50 cashback). It is obviously not as good value for money as this one, but you do get a little extra for the £80 more invested...

- 3 year replacement warranty
- prints a little faster
- duplex printing
- duplex scanning
- digital sender function (scanner will file the stack of documents placed into the ADF to a shared network folder/NAS box as a multi-page PDF file)
- uses the even better priced 940XL cartridges, which are larger in capacity yet again (ie: 2200 pages VS 1200pages of black @ 5%)
- same £50 cashback

This is a really nice printer and fairly reasonable to run. Print quality is good enough for preparing flyers for customers.

One of the reviews says: " it will !! NOT !! automatically scan both sides of two sided documents as you might rather reasonably expect with an ADF enabled printer. "

The description states differently though. Anyone know?

Who is selling the Epson Stylus SX515W for £45.00 anyone know and is it new.

Cable is included as it's an Amazon offer for specific printers. According to the technical specifications below, the printer can "Share the performance across your wireless or Ethernet network, or connect directly with Hi-speed USB 2.0."

misco is offering (via the link) the cashback but it ends up being £103.99 not 57.49 as quoted, I am pleased I ordered quickly from amazon and got the free cable and free delivery, thanks OP , the amazon price is now £148.99. Does anyone know how to set this up to print from various laptops in the house, do you just plug the cable included into the router ?

Please un-expire - it's back to £97.49

Yip unexpire I just placed an order

Mine arrived today, very easy to setup and works flawlessly with printing wirelessly from my iPhone and using the assigned email address. All the settings are inputted using the touch screen, so no need to connect a USB cable to the printer and computer. Also handy that the unit updated itself with the latest firmware once it connected to the network. Well happy - just need to fill in the forms to claim my cash back now...

I can't find anything relevant there, only a 70 cashback if you purchased the printer with an apple product, maybe I'm dumb or something ?

Go towards the bottom of the page from the link which SUMMONER provided and use the drop down box to select the 'HP Officejet 6500A Plus e-AiO' in the your product and enter the purchase date and then click on show rebate - it should show GBP40.0. I thought it was pretty straightforward and the whole process is completed on line as long you scan your invoice and upload it.

I got this one when it was £36 only £7 for comp inks too.
