Got one of these with cachback paid, after posting the deal in Jan, just noticed the 7740 is back on with eBuyer with a £60 cashback until 30th april, similar to the other hukd HP find, but this is faster and comes with 2 paper trays as standard, so you can leave A3 in one and A4 / photo paper in the other

HP OfficeJet Pro 7740 A3 Wireless All-in-One Printer
Colour Printer - Perfect for up to 3 users
Print (A3), copy (A3), scan (A3), fax
Paper Size - A4; A3; A5; A6; JIS B4; JIS B5; Envelope A2; Envelope C5; Envelope INT C6; Envelope INT DL
Connectivity - Wireless, AirPrint, Network, USB
Scan & copy 2 sided documents without turning a page with the 35-page duplex ADF | Two paper trays (manage A4 & A3 paper easily) | 6.75cm touchscreen | Scan to email

Not sure how the stock rotates on eBuyer with these deals they price slightly less than everywhere else, as the last deal came in and out of stock throughout the day.

There is no free ream of A3 paper this time, but might be worth asking on eBuyer live chat or giving them a call to order over phone, they might chuck one in the box for any new buyers

Who prints what on A3?
I've got an A3 printer but simply never used it.
Anything as big as A3 or larger (useful for posters) I've had printed (better and cheaper and hopefully more long lasting)
I suppose iti might be useful for booklets (A4 size)
Oh and presumably faxing (which I do use) in A3 requires the same model of fax/printer at the other end.
Compatible XL inks from £35 per set on Ebay
Bit of a white elephant this unless you're seriously into A3

Not as many as it used to be, but seems to be a lot more entry level SME / SOHO style A3/A3+ choices for not much more £!

Here is a very interesting read that was commissioned by Samsung AG a long time ago, as for uses today, posters, large format photos, spreadsheets, timetables and booklets would be my main guess as to what uses would be top now they are more affordable.

The A3 printing probably won't get used much, but this printer has 2 paper trays and is cheaper than the 7720 model. So the A3 paper can stay in the paper tray. The 7740 is slightly bigger in height & depth by about 20-30mm. Mine arrives today, so I will let you know how I get on with it. Thanks for posting OP.
It took me just under an hour to unpack the printer, remove all the tape and protective packaging, install the ink cartridges and paper and set it up to use on 2 computers. Just put the driver dvd in your cd drive and then it asks you to download the driver from the internet. Follow the instructions, will print from your phone/tablet and remotely via the internet with a unique HP e-mail address.
Just check you have enough space, it is a big beast, still takes up less room than the 2 A4 printers we had on the desk.

Thanks again bitcoin5 for posting this deal, much appreciated.

Welcome, use the remote HP e-print a lot, its pretty cool to print something like a spooky printer ghost when you are 400 miles away! Even more fun if you fire it up and have a Mi Home 1080p security cam running to record the spooktacular effect on anyone near the printer

Find that the quality of posters and large photos ((now of butterflies as well thanks to another hukd deal!)) is fab on A3, also use the fax and have scanned in numerous items for archiving, using the blisteringly fast ADF, love the double sided scanning as well.

Paid over £1000+ for my first A3 printer and it would only do 1 ppm flat out!
Thought this offer might have been more popular!!
