I agree with the cartridges, but you could sign up for the instant ink, that is very good value, instead of forking out a lump sum in one go,

Agreed. I would not buy a HP printer unless you're going to sign up for the instant ink service.

We have 4 of these (Variations of this model) all on Instant ink and it is an incredible workhorse for work.

Double sided scanning from the document tray too - a pleasant and useful surprise though it can jam occasionally.

We have one of these. Its a really good printer / scanner and very cheap to run on instant ink. Good for printing A4 photos as well as the usual text and graphics. Was better value a few months ago when it included the £117 Instant Ink voucher in the box, but still good at this price.

can anyone compare this with the HP OfficeJet Pro 8727 Wireless All-in-One Printer which ends up with a similar price and features I believe? maybe £20 more.. available with 4months free ink +2 1 so 7 months in total
