Great deal.
Anyway very good printer and deal. £65 (after HP cashback) for few years printing and 3 year warranty on the HW, can't knock that. Don't forget to apply the FREEINK code and get a referral code of someone to get the extra free months. You can abuse those and print a shed load of pics
Yes, it does both duplex scanning and printing.
Fax is common on business printers above a certain price.
Keep in mind that these are XL cartridges, they can do up to 2,000 pages in black and 1,600 pages each for cyan, magenta and yellow.
In Currys: "It includes up to 2 year's HP Instant Ink (longer if 50 page plan used) - made up of 3-month trial & £74 code."
That's why I signed up for the £1.99 a month.
All my cartridges were almost empty and facing shelling out £80. Instead i just pay £1.99 a month.
Totally, if all you want is 50/100pages a month HP Instant Ink is a no-brainer. Plus I assume that HP has to pay for all the ink that the printer wastes on cleaning the print heads. oO
37 months @ £1.99/ month (assuming they don't put the price up). Plus 3 months trial, plus 1 month with freeink code, plus 1 month with referral.
So upto 42 months potentially, with first 5 months trial being 300 pages/month.
Plan to get rid after credit is used. It's a decent printer, but from reviews it's on the over zealous side with the cleaning cycles. So unless you do lots of regular printing, you won't be getting the 2k pages out of those carts
It's decent. And the bonus with instant ink is you pay per page, so pics are very cheap relative to other printers.
However, it's a 3 + black, for top quality lab equivalent you'll want a specialised photo printer. They tend to have 5 or more inks, but will cost more per print.
I worked out it was costing me £2 per page I printed. Stick with a laser if you're an irregular printer user.
Try updating the firmware to the latest version and the problem might go away.
HP apologises for ink-blocking update
Can pay £1.99 per month for 50 pages regardless of how much ink it uses
So long as one of the plans is feasible for your usage scenario, otherwise I would buy generic/refurbished cartridges.
4. Rollover allows unused pages in a month to be placed in a rollover account and then applied to pages in excess of your monthly allowance. The rollover account balance is limited to a maximum of your monthly service plan pages (e.g: £1.99 plan 50 pages = 50 page rollover maximum).
Tried again just now and it's out of stock. Typical.
lol, that is very true. I guess that is why you get the first 3 months of printing up to 300 pages a month for "free". oO
The included cartridges are up to 745 pages black and 400 pages each for cyan, magenta and yellow (@ 5% coverage).
Have you picked up the correct model number ??? It should pick it up during the registration process. Mine all went through smoothly and I already have received my first supply of Inks
