4 months free Instant Ink subscription, I can't find on the listing but I confirmed by phone with Technoworld, and other retailers do explicitly state this.

It has been cheaper in the past but this (and similar 8720/8725 models) are currently £155-£200 before cashback.

For me, the cashback took ages. Also the free ink was not honoured .
but good printer and code freeink etc worked good luck
7day, did you buy the printer from Technoworld or elsewhere? I've just ordered one myself.

Is that code an alternative to one that's supposed to be in the box? Thx
How good is photo printing on this ?
Does it have a feed scanner?

Yes it does, it has a duplex scanner
I own this printer it's great and all but if your planing on using glossy paper for photos or what ever, it always jams and is a right pain.
Might be worth a shot, but I was in Currys and asked to buy the display model and they sold it to me for £72.

With the cashback, we're looking at £22 total cost. 4 months ink trial is working too.
Does anyone know how much ink is after the 4 month supply?

I'm in the market for a new printer for my studious son. I don't want it to cost a fortune but I've previously fallen into the trap of buying a cheap printer with ink refils costing £25 per cartridge!! Can anyone recommend a decent printer at a reasonable cost with ink refils that don't cost too much money? I understand it might be a big ask !
went to order and they want my life story to buy one, no way of checking delivery costs to my end of teh country until stage 4 of the buying process ! then I have to figure out and chase up discount, guess I will give it a miss. One day these shops may make it easier rather than jumping through hoops and giving my life story to buy a printer ! One lost customer.

Look into instant ink, its from a few pounds a month, and works with this …Look into instant ink, its from a few pounds a month, and works with this printer..

Thanks for that. £1.99 per month for 50 pages! That's a bargain.

The only thing now is whether the printer is too big....it looks a beast!
which package is the trial- 50 pages a month or 100 etc?

You can select whichever you want for the free months trial so it only makes sense to select the 300 pages/month one and then, after the free trial, either change to one of the cheaper plans or cancel.
does any1 know whether a page where only a tiny amount of ink is used on a blank page counts as a page? i know blank pages dont count but what if its like final page in a doc where it only has a page number at the bottom
Thanks

Yes it will count as page unfortunately
Ebuyer now have the more-or-less identical printer (8720 - white not black casing) for £149.98 before cashback, i.e. £17.98 more expensive than this Technoworld deal.

ebuyer.com/747…a80

Having ordered mine from Technoworld, they use DPD so 1-hour delivery window which is useful. Don't know what couriers ebuyer use.
I've now got the printer (it was for my parents):
1. It is big - but no bigger than the stated dimensions!
2. It's very fast
3. It does come with 4 months' Instant Ink
4. You can search online (or PM me) for referral codes - to get another 2 months' free ink (so we got 6 months free in total)
5. I have registered with HP for both the £50 cashback and the 3-year warranty (separate signups - my links above seem to have got converted by HUKD to point to HP in France(!) but you can google for the correct links)
6. The HP Smart app means you can scan to iPhone/iPad (and presumably Android devices too) and it prints well from iOS devices too.
7. Was expecting the photo printing to be poor, but seemed perfectly OK onto plain paper (haven't tried coated paper yet)
6. The ADF will scan both sides of originals automatically (allowing 2->2 sided copies too)
8. It scans to email and to computer well.
Does this need an Ethernet cable to connect
Or wireless ok
I appreciate this deal has gone, ... but as its now £124- £50 its arguably cheaper but can't find refference to the 4month ink for this printer do youb have a link m8 I was sure i had it on a page when i looked yesterday but when im ready to order I xcant find it
