READ FIRST: It's not clear whether this deal is still on or not. The offer seems to have changed to £70 off even though the first deal (20% off) was supposed to go on until 9pm tonight. Don't order if you're not sure.

Enter code: MFKTR to get the 20% off.

Deal ends at 9pm tonight.

Great deal on a really good quality laptop! Please read carefully.

This is great deal but not everyone will be able to get it. Currently, it's being sold for £799.99 but very has an offer of 20% back on computers taken out on 12 month buy it now, pay later terms if you purchase before 14 December (you only have until 9pm tonight to purchase it). If you pay it back within 12 months you won't pay any interest. If you don't pay it back within 12 months then you'll end up paying a pretty hefty rate of interest so don't bother unless you know you can pay it back within that time. Not everyone loves very so this deal is not for them. However, I've done this twice now with Littlewoods (very's sister company) and have saved a packet. Before you order, make sure you select the the 12 month BNPL terms otherwise you won't be getting 20% back.

It’s the same price, it’s £643 after the 20% off. They are both £799 originally
The Acer nitro suffers from thermal throttling. I can vouch for the Omens build quality, it runs cool and quiet.

Are u sure it's this specific model Acer nitro that suffers from thermal throttling ? I'm sure it's a different model that does....
Does this come with the free keylogging software?

On or before 25th January.
Is the code working for anyone else? Doesn't seem to be working for me at the moment. I'm on the phone to them now

When you put the code in you'll notice that the 12 month BNPL option becomes automatically selected which qualifies the deal. By all means check with very (would rather you did to make sure) but I'm pretty sure that means the code has been accepted.

any ideas what the most taxing game this will play? ie new COD / Destiny etc

I get roughly 50 to 60 fps on The Witcher 3 on medium settings if that's any use. Mine's a slightly different version but essentially the same laptop.

Edit: actually, it's probably a bit better than that...

No you have to buy that yourself.

If it's on there it's easy to remove - apparently.
When must I pay back the whole amount because it is put on a Buy Now Pay Later option, Can I just pay it all in one go and expect the 20 percent to be refunded??!

I'd wait until they credit the 20% back and then, I believe, you can pay the whole thing off, unless you want to take advantage of interest free credit for 12 months.
This is Rubbish - you must have at least £900 inn your credit account to be able to buy the laptop, if your credit is below £900 you can't make that purchase, to increase your credit, you must have an account open for at least 3 months then they will ask you questions to determine if you are liable to have that extended credit on your account.

Yeah, i ran into the same issue. I paid the extra amount onto the account and then was able to buy it
Very dodgy way of doing things forcing credit to get discount surprised it’s legal.
Which is better this one or the one below

Very deals used to be banned on here. I'm guessing that Very either put pressure on HUKD or it was too lucrative too ignore.

They're well known for not honouring discount codes. It's a bit like Cashback I guess - the cashback is useful enough, but don't bank on it.

It's true, not everyone can get their deals, but if you become clued up on how they work then you can get some great deals. I've haven't any problem with them but there's lots of people who have. From my experience, they seem to be a lot better than they used to be.
Good deal but be warned very's CS is by far the worst of any company is something goes wrong i hope you like jumping through hoops

Just out of interest is that your experience recently? Genuine question. I'm just trying to work out whether CS have actually improved or not. I had a problem with them on one item last year and they sorted it out very quickly and gave me £15 credit to "compensate" me. In addition, I had to return a faulty dehumidifier recently and had no problems returning that either. Is it possible that they've actually cleaned up their act?

Personally I'd stay away from Acer, trash in my opinion. Every Acer laptop I've had or someone I know has had has fallen apart or broken.
