Seems a good machine. Decent pricr. Anyone used it? Or researched it?

Had a play in Curry's the other day, this stood out to me in terms of specs for price, and quality. Been looking for a gaming laptop for a few weeks now and (apart from the 20% BNPL deal at Very) this is the best price I've seen it at...this side of black friday anyway.

It beats the similarly speced acer nitro 7, dell g5 and Asus zephyrus g on all benchmarks I've seen so far.
Unless my eyesight is getting the better of me, I couldn't see the gfx listed in the post:

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Graphics with 6 GB GDDR6

Here for the record.

Excellent. Seems a good pick then. Glad you could get a proper hands on with it. Confidence inspiring to be able to check the build quality directly. I'd suggest checking some other real world reviews to see does it overheat and throttle like hell, make a racket, etc.
Not sure why this has gone so cold considering it went hot for £85 more here
hotukdeals.com/dea…072

And that's with an SSD half the size, albeit with a 1tb HDD...but even if you buy a 1tb HDD and install it in the spare bay it would still be cheaper than the previously hot deal.

This site confuses me sometimes

That's what I did, ordered through curry's, got 15% cashback then gonna use the 7 day price promise to make them price match Microsoft store...if it works out alright it'll cost me £890 in total but I doubt it though haha
Wow! Never thought of that! Will they price match?
