I've been shopping around for a gaming laptop and I thought this was a decent deal compared to what else is out there atm. Good all rounder and good value for an RTX laptop imo. I found a lot of similarly priced laptops with a 1660ti.

Extra HDD space is a winner for me too. There are a lot of laptops that just come with an SSD - with the size of games these days I don't know how people are getting by without the extra space?

You also get a free copy of the new COD.

Bear in mind that this is the 2060 Max-Q. Laptop also runs very hot (cooling isn't great) so the likelihood is that you'll get some throttling under load as well as an uncomfortable amount of heat from the keyboard and also under the laptop etc.

Other than that, its not a bad price (was £999 in August hotukdeals.com/dea…649)

Personally, I'd still go with the Helios 300.

Thank you this is really helpful feedback mate. What's the performance difference in the Max-Qs?

You can get the 8gb version for £100 less on the same website, so if you buy yourself another 8gb stick of Ram for £35, you'll save yourself another £65

That was the 8gb version, not the 16gb version the OP has posted...although coincidentally the 8gb version is £999 again now, with a 'black friday price guarantee' so if it drops below the current price for black friday, they'll refund you the difference
