HP's omni 10 windows 8 tablet, this is the lowest I have ever seen it.

Advantages,
Atom® Z3770 processor
1920 x 1200 resolution
Microsoft Office home and student
the recovery partition is on a supplied sd card, so you gain few gb's.

Disadvantages
Only 32gb (expandable)
No known cover keyboard.

4% off with 4OFFHP reducing to £239.04, code found by Jasonli (thank you)...........NOT working anymore.

Hope it helps someone.

also has HDMI, and micro SD card support.

it looks like a good deal

It does look like a very good deal, so tempted to replace my Nexus 7 with this

Decent tablet. I have been using it for 3 months now. price was 329£. Its fast its light and has micro hdmi with microsdxc. full win 8.1 and free office home & students. screen is excellent and bright. battery lasts 10 hrs of continuous use. At this price it is more than worth I think. Dont start comparing and you will be ok. Remember it is a full computer and an tablet in one!

Any advice about a good 64gb micro sd card?

Use £5 amazon mother day voucher to buy a sandisk 64gb sd card.

Student can get £1 off.

This is hot hot hot from me! Been looking at this for a while now - much cheaper than the Dell Venue 11 pro, which I have been weighing this up against.

this looks good! was considering the Toshiba encore but this is a lot bigger which should make using W8.1, a lot easier.

Absolutely hot from me. and the review on youtube is impressive.

does anyone know how long will this offer last? I have an encore on the way but with this price I think I will go with the omni!

use code 4OFFHP for 4% off making it only £239.04.

If some1 can confirm it will run Diablo 3 and Reaper Of Souks I'll buy it....

Thx.

Also 2% quidco. not sure if stacks with 4OFFHP code ....

some1 try and report back plz.

Even if it tracked, no way to know that HP would pay out in the end...

That said, 4 years ago, I used a voucher and quidco and got paid (after a long wait). But obviously that's a long time and could have changed

Great deal, great price!

Not bad but waiting for 10.1" full hd 4G windows tablet to replace my almost perfect acer w511

does anyone know how long will this offer last?

Looks good. Anything beating this at this price?

Is screen IPS?

Is screen IPS?

Yes

Ordered one with the zip case. Thanks OP.

got 1 thanks

How can they release these things without the option of a proper keyboard dock. This is Windows...give us the option to be productive!
I'll stick to my Asus T100

Do not buy the Sandisk Ultra 64G. They are very slow.

Kingston, Samsung, 64G class 10, they are quick than the Sandisk one.

I bought them all and tested them all.

What is it with the lack of reviews around for this? Was set on getting the Dell Venue Pro 8 for someone who isn't into computers but this looks like a much better option. Really hot price for a 10".

Edit: Does anyone own a 10" Windows tablet? Is the text when surfing the web easy to read?

Much cheaper but I'm holding out hoping the Venue 11 comes down in price. Things like a full size USB port on the Venue tablet, the fact it charges via microUSB and not a proprietary port like the HP are important to me. The proper keyboard is also important and the the ability to change batteries is a really really nice thing to have even if it isn't one of the deciding factors for me.

Does a micro USB hub work on one of these ?

Then you could use a proper keyboard and mouse, then connect it to HDMI monitor as well.

Hi anyoneGuys do these run .exe's as standard apps? I was wondering if it runs office (being .exe) will it also be capable of running my music DAW's like Fruity Loops 10 or Reason/Cubase and Ableton etc.. So I could essentially carry on with music projects on it and import my .wav samps etc n get down to business someone please say it does any reply welcome! Cheers fingers crossed

Yeah, it runs .exe programs as its a full windows 8 computer.

These are great, not the fastest thing but should be able to run some older games like half life 2 on lowish settings.

Whilst all the friends are playing their dead trigger and other mobile crapness, you bust out your left for dead....... on a tablet!!!

Thank you again for the code.

It will run them but you will load the CPU very quickly. Great deal, I just bought a 10" windows tablet and love it, should have waited a week and got this!

Also, save your money on a case and pop to your nearest home bargains...

Will fit just perfect and will save you £13 on the HP case that looks very similar.

I had 2 windows tablets, and really wanted to give windows a go. I really wanted to unleash the power of Microsoft office on the tablet, but was disappointed by the experience of Windows tablets, because as compared to the keyboards on Android like when I use SwiftKey, I type 2 times faster on Android because the Android keyboards auto saves and auto predicts all my personal and academics words. So unless of course you want windows tablets for just watching movies, I just cannot find any justification whatsoever of using Windows over Android considering the high costs of Windows tablets over Android. For me a cheap 2 year old Samsung galaxy tab 10.1,which can be bought for just over 100£, has an extra memory card, can play YouTube videos, Netflix, show box, WhatsApp, text messages, use office word apps, and great gaming. So it's definitely Android for me.

Great price, voted hot. My dad could do with one of these, it would suit his needs perfectly. It isn't for me though.

bought this just before Christmas from currys £300. worth every penny, just be sure to get yourself an OTG adapter to use any usb drive/accessory.
