HEY.
I know there was an Omen with similar spec for cheaper at John Lewis a month ago, but that's gone now, so...
Is this alright spec for the price?
Says it was reduced by £101 yesterday.

Thanks!

Is it possible to get the screen and processor without the gaming performance for a chunk less than this? Always seems like to get these you need to pay for gaming performance that you don't necessarily want.

I'm looking for the same. Seen the screen many times, but not the full quad core processors. Seems that would be a good market to tap in to. And I can guarantee, that if 1 starts it, it'll most certainly snowball effect.

Having said that, I think I may have seen the processor, but lower results screen. But this is probably going a while back when I was looking for a laptop.

Same spec MSI laptop on Amazon for about the same price but has an optical drive - MSI GP62 7RD.

I have been trying to find i7,256ssd or above and good screen for photos for a while and can't seem to find a reasonable costing one in the last month prices have gone up quite a bit

Hopefully more machines will come out with Quad Core i5 or i7 8th Generation processors.

If you would use photo editing software working with CUDA this setup would be better than one with on-board graphics

Hi, I'm looking for a good well built laptop for daughter going off the to university next year. No fancy gaming, just office, social media etc. See this and send a good option. Thoughts from those who know more welcomed. Looking to buy now as couple of years ago got stung when nothing came up before Christmas.

If you got it when it was this price, I hope you contacted them to price match it when they had it down to £499 before removing it from their site! (I did)
