dont know why people keep marking it down. Maybe someone will explain?

is the pentium processor alright? and does anyone know if the 4gb ram is easily upgradable (or would that not really be necessary?)

Your description being wrong is potentially a reason for the down votes.

1366 x 768 is not "Full HD" but rather "HD Ready". A world of difference between the two.

Heat here, a decent deal. That said, the processor is only OK-ish, and for that price if you'e happy to wait better deals will probably come on in weeks to come.

I personally have had a bad track record of the 3 HP laptops I've bought in the past 5 years, all have gone wrong for various reasons, so I wouldn't buy one personally for that reason. Three times burned....

Hot! Runs kodi no problem

In terms of build quality for laptops in a similar price range, HP seems to better than other brands like ASUS, Acer and Lenovo. The keyboard doesn't flex as much on the HP as it does on the other brands when typing and feels much more sturdier.

cold.

The A6 6310 for £200 from Tesco Direct would be better. More powerful and £30 cheaper.

A lot of people dislike HP because they have had HP consumer laptops dead on them pretty quickly.

People use HP business laptops are mostly satisfied with their quality. Having said that, I have noticed recent quality drop in HP business laptops.

You have to draw a line between the two types.

I cannot agree with you on your comment that "In terms of build quality for laptops in a similar price range, HP seems to better than other brands like ASUS, Acer and Lenovo".

In my opinion, HP consumer laptops do not have an edge on quality over those brands' consumer laptops. The HP 250 I have seen are pretty bad quality.

HP Pavilion is a consumer laptop.

Tesco Direct is doing so many laptop deals this week.

It had brand new i3 for £150 on Thursday.

A Pentium N3700 for £150 on Thursday too.

Both sold out on the same day.
