FeaturesRed Mechanical Switches: Red mechanical switches not only offer the smoothest keystroke experience, but allow you to take rapid action in silence.
Light Up Your Touch: LED backlighting not only prevents miss-keying, but features a floating key design. Plus, with a choice of four colour options to choose from, your lighting experience is all you.
No Key Undetected: Anti-ghosting with N-key rollover ensures that no matter how fast and furious you make your next move; every single key press is detected.
Control Tracks and Volume: Adjust the volume or skip to your favourite track without exiting. With media control Fn keys, you have the power to switch it up while in-game.
Interruption-Free Gaming: Game interruptions are detrimental to your success. Prevent them by activating the gaming mode function key, so all background processes stay where they belong—out of your game.

Nice to see Free Delivery as well,a brand name mechanical keyboard, Amazon reviews state 'The first thing that surprised me to take the keyboard out of the box is that this one is metallic, it weighs a lot. It has a 3.5” jack connector that many people can use to connect headphones'... heat OP.

Not many reviews, sadly
Wrong key layout for me.
Better than that £25 Amazon basics one?
Are the switches any good? Is there blue or brown version by any chance?
Reviews saying you can only press two keys at a time?
That looks really nice. Unfortunately, I'm not fond of reds.

It says UK layout. Pictures of keyboards are generally always the US layout marketing photos.
The amazon.com reviews for this are bad. No N-key rollover and membrane underneath switches?!

A lot of “mechanical” keyboards at this price seem to be membrane numbers, in disguise.
my salvation army charity shop gets new unwanted stock form aldi and other places.

got a mechanical feel rgb keyboard new for 5 quid, the mechanical feel,is actual very good.

hard to tell the difference between my real, blue key mechanical switch keyboard, i dont game though
Great for general use, remember if buying for gaming this keyboard is at the low end for quality but will still do the job.
The comment re the 2.5mm jack etc is for the 800 Series keyboard, which this certainly isn't. Very budget keyboard, which doesn't do ghosting, so it'll only recognise 2 x keys pressed at any one time. This will hinder a huge number of people. As an everyday keyboard with red switches, although I don't think they are Cheery Reds, it'll be fine, but just to point the fact out to people, just in case. It is a bargain, so heat, good find. They are £50 in Argos... £29.99 isn't much to pay for a half decent keyboard...
Great for home office. Don't game with a keyboard anyway

Maybe you should try gaming with a keyboard and mouse then

FPS was always on console for me, and PC for top down strategy ... And just don't have the time to game now anyway... Although my work keyboard is a Roccat Mx... But as I'm paying for this don't want to spend the earth. Played Cs GO with a steam controller at work lol.... I was horrendous as you can imagine

I understand. The Steam controller is cool and all but yeah I couldn't imagine trying to play a fast paced game like CS with it. You were probably better than some of my friends I queue with though

This is the standard UK one isn't it?

Rated 2.8 on Amazon usa. Probably can do much better for a similar price. Reviews also state that this isn't a mechanical keyboard .

Does anyone make a mechanical keyboard without some kind of stupid "gamer" font?

Just the normal font that's on 99.9999999999999999% of keyboards, not the Space 1999 font that these idiots use

Sometimes I need use more than the WASD keys, and I'm not going to learn to touch type at my age.

HyperX which I own looks alright for me; I agree that some keyboards look ridiculous with their font choice...

These that sell pretty well for me ATM might be okay for you, but the font is still 'off' from normal.

varmillo or leopold are good prebuilts. most come with cherry switches which arent great but are ok for most
I haven't tried this but I wouldn't recommend red switches to anyone who hasn't tried them first for typing. I find them very difficult to use.

Have some heat though, that's a good price!

I've got a logitech G413 - no stupid font in sight. Also no RGB, just 4x levels of white LED backlight. I'm not sure if it does fancy lighting effects because I haven't bothered checking and I don't like them. Romer g switches not cherry, but I like the feel.
Dont know why people are voting this hot. All the reviews say the same two things
1/Switches are NOT mechanical
2/Keyboard DOESNT have anti-ghosting and pressing more than two keys at the same time locks it up.

For 4 quid off this is very far from a good deal

Get the impression it's certain keys otherwise ctrl alt and del won't work. Not worried about gaming so for office use it's fine... Will find out Monday

Because it's on the front page for whatever reason, probably because it was posted by an expert
I've ordered the amazon basics one instead, proper mechanical and individual customisable leds for each key etc and fairly decent reviews and only £24.50.

Yeah it was £24.70 when I added to my basket, by the time I'd watched some reviews and ordered I got it for £24.60, was £24.50 when I posted it in this thread and now it's £24.14! It was £60 for a while and average price is £36.65 so a decent deal.
Have had two different mechanical keyboards with those outremu or whatever they are called switches that have both failed in just over a year. One not responding to key strokes every time and the latest double typing letters no matter how I alter the repeat rate and repeat delay.

The cherry before that lasted years and years.

The Roccat Soura keyboards sometimes come down to this kind of price, they are great quality I got brown keys they haven’t changed in performance in a couple of years.
Got my keyboard and set it up... Del, backspace and half the numbers don't work... Pile of rubbish... Returning it and I'll get the amazon one
