Very nice spec for the money, only second gen but it's a quad core i7 for £300. Hot!

No HDMI on an i7 with a proper GFX card. Madness.

agreed, lack of hdmi is strange however this is an amazing price, even with it only being 2nd gen i7

Can't decide whether to get this or not :s

Could do with a better laptop

Bought. Mine has just died, and if I can't fix, will be an ideal replacement. Else, I should get 400-500 on eBay for the fella.

Pics show it too

If only it was a full HD screen or at least 1600 x 900 I would be all over this!

I would get something with hdmi

Only 3 left now

Couldn't resist temptation and got myself one. Hoping it's good condition for a refurb, heard bad stories of bits falling off. Anybody had experience of refurbs, particularly Currys/PC world?

Ordered I'm in trouble

I never spend more than £300 or so on a laptop. For the money I was not going to get anything better, so I bought. It's got twice the storage and a 3 times faster cpu (passmark), much better graphics than ths 1st gen i3 I'm typing on and I get to keep windows 7.

Has no hdmi according to HP, but still good for the money if you can do without hdmi

I purchased this laptop for £479 from that PC World deal Was a refurb, had it about 18 months now and never had any issues with it, was a bargain at that price so £320 WOW!!!.

And this does have a HDMI port. The only gripe is the wireless card, it's a combo bluetooth card so you don't get full wireless N connection speeds. Maxes at 72mbs but it's not a major issue.

I have this laptop and it does have a HDMI port 100%.

I just looked at the specs on the HP website and they don't list it with HDMI?

h10025.www1.hp.com/ewf…023

Does anyone know if this comes with 1x 4gb RAM module or 2x 2gb?

Mine has just arrived 1 x 4gb stick. 1 free slot. and it does have hdmi. Initial unpacking impression is that is is grade A.

Curious to hear how the condition was on other people's? Mine looks like new!
