No numerical keypad. Ugh.
Nice spec - shame it's a hp, but voted hot all the same.
Shame, since my HP TX2130 malfunctioned, I've vowed never to buy an HP again.

Good specs, but no chance I'd buy from them. Not voting either way
Very hot indeed! Fab spec for the price!
good spec at that price
Had an Hp for 4 years. Upgraded the HDD never had any problems. Would buy from again!!
Same here, best build quality iv had
I looking into buying a new laptop and would like to spend exactly up to £400 for a good one. Have had an HP for over 4 years and no problems so believe this good be the one now?? seems good especifications for the price, right?
G6 HP are there budget machines, build qualtiy is v v plasticky..........
I had an HDX X18. Cracking laptop. Amazing screen and keyboard.
good machine we have 2 had them since feb and no issues so far
Sony deal was better for the same price, if they honour it!
Looks like a solid laptop.
I know a guy who has this exact model and it's just gone belly-up on him, albeit still within the warranty period.

Basically he's got the flashing battery charging light of death, it doesn't power on at all or do anything, just sits there with a pulsating charge light whether the battery is in or out on AC power. Tried resets etc, everything, doesn't want to do anything else.

As I say, still within warranty and is only a sample of one, but it doesn't exactly inspire confidence!
They say you may not cancel under DSR if you've unsealed the product. I thought under DSR you're allowed to unseal products and use them as long as you take reasonable care of them?
Hd3000 gfx? : (
No USB 3.0

I don't think their 'unsealing' argument really holds water - you can't make a reasonable assessment of the machine without powering it on and using it.

P.S. What am I missing I can't see why is this so HOT? HD 3000, no USB3.0 and only a mediocre price for an i5....

Can consumers cancel an order in any circumstances? 3.37 No. The … Can consumers cancel an order in any circumstances? 3.37 No. The cancellation provisions do not apply to contracts referred toat paragraph 2.20. There are also statutory time limits for consumersto exercise their rights to cancel, as explained at paragraph 3.22.3.38 Unless you have agreed that they can, your consumers cannot cancelif the order is for: - audio or video recordings or computer software that the customerhas unsealed

It clearly states for software which the DSR won't cover as too many people would be buying, copying and returning software.

I've had this laptop for a few weeks now and it's a good laptop; however, very plasticky as people said and the touchpad is pretty awful (especially the mouse buttons underneath, my left mouse button actually sunk into the case and had to be wedged out). On top of that, the screen started flickering once but I believe that was a driver problem which was quickly sorted.

In every day use this laptop is brilliant, decent screen and fairly cheap, just don't expect good build quality.
just ordered as this is great price. buying for browsing and streaming and other simple apps so am hopeful it excels expectations
Hi there,
