Do people still actually use laptops?

Yes, lots of grown ups have them - people with jobs, etc.

You could pick one up next time you fly to China!
Through MCR T1 tomorrow evening. Will check

Just because its not available to you, doesn't stop it from being a deal.

I flew from Manchester to Dublin once. Just to fly back an hour later, so I could get a deal there, and it still saved me a few hundred pounds.

For anyone travelling/interested they also have Samsung S8 in midnight black reduced for £429 and Samsung S8 plus reduced for £519
That is an absolute bargain.

Ex-display in an airport, ya must be joking.
What is the deal with something like this - you can only buy it if you have a ticket flying out of the UK?

But not if you are returning into the UK?

All the cool kids are using vintage IBM Mainframes these days alongside their vinyl.
The IBM 390 is cooler than a Roland 808.

I'm with you mate. Use my desktops most of the time, if not my iPad.

I have a MacBook Pro Touchbar that has been used for about 20 mins this year so far.

It doesn't say anywhere that it's ex display?
does it have standard 1 yr warranty?
I always thought the duty free thing is a gimmick and you can usually get better price on high street even with VAT.
So is this ex displayed model or do you actually get a new one?
I paid £449 on Boxing Day for this at Heathrow and so far I'm happy with it (after upgrading the RAM, the SSD and adding a hard drive). If you indeed get new unopened stock for £350 then it's a scorching hot deal from me.

They are not duty free and you get UK/EU warranty.

Not everything is cheap but they often have decent bargains to clear to meet targets. Ancillaries are always expensive though.

I got a brand new pair of Sony WH1000MX2 NC BT headphones for £180 recently, a couple of laptops a few years ago, iphones etc all at a significant discount to High Street/online prices. And you don't have to be travelling. Airport staff can also buy stuff.
If you want current prices you can always ring your local airport branch and they'll tell you the price.
And no, i don't work there, but I am in an airport a lot.

Insane deal, how can we get this online lol

Surely there can be a flight for less than £50 you can book but don't turn up?

Sadly none in MCR T1
