can't find any reviews on this machine so not sure if it is any good.

Looks like a pretty sweet set-up

I'm presuming the T8100 is a 45nm processor?

I have this from when it was briefly £499, about 5 months ago, from John Lewis. I'd say it was somewhat overpriced at £529.99 compared to other deals on here recently

We've been very happy with it, but I bought my daughter a HP laptop recently and have had real problems with it, particularly the well-documented problems with it not going to sleep, hibernating or even shutting down properly. Of course, I didn't realise these were common problems until it happened and I looked it up!

I'd be wary of HP's in future until this is fixed.

do some research in to common issues with this model. I bought three DV2535EA's and all three are overheating and one has had a motherboard change and is now going in as the graphics card seems to have died. Only had them about a year. I have not been impressed with the HP Pavilion DV models but this model might not have the same issues that mine do.
