Seems decent buy and 3 year john lewis guarantee. Slightly quicker processor than recent lenovo deal, bigger screen and not have to deal with currys

This does look good, I am very tempted! Was about to go for one of the Currys lenovo deals, but with similar spec and 3 year John Lewis guarantee this might be the one for me!
Only hesitating as I had an HP years ago and it wasn't great, but sure they've got better!
Thanks!
Not a great review left on JL
Yeah did notice the review but at least if you do have a problem as in that instance john lewis usually decent to deal with. Spec wise seems marginally better than the recent lenovo 320 deal that was voted hot.

I have a Lenovo laptop bought just over a year ago. It has a fault that means it doesnt always move past the start. Lenovo's recommended fix involves reinstalling everything, some people suggest removing the dvd drive may help. My lenovo tablet has a switch issue and has twice has to have the switch held down for several minutes before it would start. Google and you'll discover these are fairly common problems. So I wouldnt buy lenovo thinking it's going to be hassle free.

A 3 year guarantee interests me considerably!

Just a quick question as I'm not too knowledgeable on processors - you mention that this processor is better than the recent Lenovo deal - there have been a couple of those! Is this better than the Lenovo deal which reached hot at £379 with an i5 processor?

No there was an i3 lenovo for 350 at currys which was also voted hot last week, this hp will be quicker. The i5 for 380 is a quicker processor than the hp although dont believe its hd screen (and 14" vs 15" screen as well) and guarantee wont be 3 years.
Is this worth it for the money or are there better deals out there ?
