Looks like it would give the Galaxy Tab Note 12.2 a run for its money

Can't seem to add it to the basket, says not found...

Agreed dwl99 and a damn site cheaper they been going on ebay for about £270 ish so this is tempting. If lollipop out for it very good deal.

The price is good but the screen res and thus ppi are low (163) vs. 247 on the Note 12" - pixels would be pretty chunky like the old iPad 2 / Xoom / etc. tablets. Not asking for 500 ppi but lower than 200 or so is a bit rough.

Must be out of stock:
"The following products could not be found in your product catalogue:
HP Pro Slate 12 - tablet - Android 4.4.4 (KitKat) - 32 GB - 12.3"

Ordered from link that agoatson gave and paid by paypal so should be fine thanks

It has an higher resolution than my 15.6 inch laptop which looks nice so not sure how bad it can look unless you hold it 5 inch from your face. I agree it seems low but big screen plus high res = battery drain.

And to think, As soon as Apple bring out there large screen tab, It will be as if no one else ever had a large screen tab, And it was all invented by Apple.

Good review here, battery drain not an issue would say pretty good for the screen size.

I read battery was good on this but was refering to ones with higher res draining battery. Tempted to get one but will just sell in a week so wont bother ha ha.

Someone offered this on another thread as an alternative and I posted that the adapter for hdmi they charge another £39!

Lol! That's a sweeping statement which doesn't hold true when you compare the resolutions.

If you're talking about the Galaxy Tab Pro 12"... they cost over £500.
These cost just over £150.
They give the Galaxy Tab Pro a run for their money. Easily.

Bought one from here. I have been wanting a larger screen tablet for a while and the specs on this are knockout for the price. I found the 4G version for an extra £25 but decided I could manage tethering from my phone or iPad on the rare occasions I'll be using this out of range of wifi. There was only one left at the time and it's now sold out. Next best price was a tad over £200.

66 in stock, then I just ordered, and it is still showing 66 in stock......!

Been around at least 20 years that i know of.

Thanks OP - ordered, my daughter had asked for a larger screen tablet and was taking my Galaxy Tab S as her Nexus 7 was too small for You Tube. This is great value for a large 12" screen and good specs, had been looking at the Linx 10 (£150) but was put off by it only having 1Gb RAM. Insight have been around for years, deal mainly with business now days as the public are pains in the ****. Service from a business point of view was excellent but we had an account manager for when things went pear shaped. So thanks Hot UK Deals thats Birthday sorted now for Xmas!

Been after a large tablet for ages, thanks OP! Great spot!

I tried getting one from the Insight link.

I've had an email reply from them, saying it's ordered, but also "Please note, this message does not constitute an acceptance of your order."
I guess this means they order via a third party?
Also my usual credit card security pop up didn't pop up,and my hotmail account says 'Be careful! This sender has not passed our fraud detection checks!' for the email address for the company.
Getting worried now!

Hi. Where did you find the 4g one?

Oh, tempting! Looking for a big tablet to read comics in, as my Nook HD+ is showing its age now.
Samsung 12.2 seems to be the best one for that purpose, but it's waaaaay too pricey.

This one would have been ok even with the lower resolution, but no SD card?
Shame, guess it's a no go, then.

My front runner is still the Cube i7 Remix (11.6 inches)
gearbest.com/tab…tml
Unless anyone has better recommendations?

Oh! The Techradar review complained about lack of storage and saying you'd have to get a cloud account, so I assumed there was no MicroSD!
That will teach me to just skim the articles!

Cheers for the heads up!

Does anyone know if these will play 1080p videos ? I know its not full HD but my playbook would play them and that wasnt either - if it does im going to get one ??

thanks in advance

Received mine today from the link on page 1 (your..I...T.com)
Said free delivery was a 7 day wait but got it within 24 hours so excellent service so far.

Tablet looks great , has updated to 5.0 straight away and having installed a few apps cannot fault it so far.
A 12.2 inch screen from a reputable brand for £160 is fine for me !
