Also £419.98 - Claim £50 Cashback, £150 Trade-In plus £50 Bonus Cashback in September = £179.98?
Just to be sure, I created a business type e mail address and mine got approved. A friend used his personal e mail and it got declined. Bought 2 other models and waiting for cash back. Each lappy will then have cost £130 each.
Should work out at about £157

£420 - £200(tradeup) - £50(cashback) - £13(topcashback)
Hi guys, think there is some confusion here - if you land on dabs and search "BMF6i700" you'll see the laptop at £399.99 now - then after 2 x £50 cashbacks (if bought this month) and the £150 trade in you could end up £250 back and the net price of the laptop @ £150. Full details can be seen in the "Claim Up to £250 Cashback & Trade-In" box in the description.

Thanks

Andycs , Don't let that put you off, loads on here have just started out business of their own prompted by recent HP tradeup offers ... it just works !
Also , unless you send something in that's 'actually dead' , you will get your full trade up value.... I bought a tablet off ebay for £18 delivered and sent that in !

Well worth £150 imo. Good deal!
I'm thinking about buying this as the build quality should be good I hope. I don't have a trade able laptop but a £100 cash back makes it a good deal. My concern is the quality of the screen though. A lot of 720p panels seems dull and washed out imo

I've got the Probook 650 which looks fairly similar and I've been reasonably happy once Win8 was made to behave properly (ie like Win7 ) - this deal looks excellent but I have to agree with your comments on 720p screens, mine looks a bit washed out compared to other laptops I've had... it's not bad but it's not great.

But an i3 laptop with Win7 installed and Win10 for those that want it for a bargain price (assuming you have old device to send in) this should surely be a hot deal?!

Without a trade in I think the cash back is only £50. The trade-in is £150 + £50 bonus. Would be worth buying something cheap to trade in.

I am thinking of buying this laptop for a client. They are currently using a Windows XP desktop computer (HP in fact!) -so they are eligible for the trade-in. My only hesitation is this line;

" 8.The maximum reward available is capped at 50% of the total invoice purchase price of Qualifying Products regardless of the reward advertised."

The invoice price is £419. The potential cashback/trade-in reward is £250. Surely HP will refuse to honour the entirety of that £250 cashback given that it equates to more than 50% of the invoice price?!

Also....has anyone gone ahead with buying this laptop? What's the verdict? Any good?

We got this deal when it was £407 @ Dabs a few days ago. TCB £10, another £8 on my Amex points made for £139. HP have already approved the £200. You have to wait 30 days to get the extra £50 c/b.

Don't worry - the £50 c/b is not included in the max 50% rule - so we'll get £250 total.

I know the price has gone up to £420 but there's a seller on Amazon @ £390, so you get the laptop for (£390-£195), -£50 c/b, -£8 on the Amex points = £137 - HP already confirmed to me this reseller is approved (Laptops Direct).

How good is it? i3 with CPU benchmark of 3200 or so = excellent for the money. My kids have been using it with no lagginess at all on the games.

Easy enough to pick up a good XP for £15 on ebay.

Hi wenttoabetterplace, that's not the case at all, as we can send you a dispensation note to show HP that you ordered within the date range and so you can send to HP and it would be approved. DM or email duncsdeals@dabs.com and we can arrange.

Hi Dunc,

I spoke with your CS advisor (Ben) via telephone....and he was the one that said I wasn't eligible (for the reason that the 'contract is only formed once the item is dispatched'). It was because of that phone call that I wrote the message to you...

Fortunately, tweeting your @dabsdotcom Twitter handle got the kind of customer service I was hoping for all along. They liaised with Loz at your CS department, and got the order amended so that the order date is now 30/09/2015 - therefore making me eligible for the cashback.

In short - everything is back on track! & the laptop was dispatched impressively quickly (ordered at 9pm, dispatched by 7:25am the next day!).

Hopefully that invoice date issue will be the only issue I have. Oh, and thanks for following up my original message to you.

By the way, any idea on whether you'll be running the following deal any time soon;

hotukdeals.com/dea…743

Upgrading to an SSD is first thing on the list for the new ProBook!
Glad we got that sorted for you! 240GB wise I think we're done on those for now, May have something on another capacity soon...

It appears this deal has been extended to 31st October.
I think this deal for the HP ProBook with Intel i3 low energy processor should closer in heat to the AMD one posted (£352 and over 252 degrees).
Worth the extra £40 or so for improved performance and 9 hours battery life.

Yep...and this one comes with an additional £50 cashback I think? (At least it did do in September when I bought my one).
Just updating to Windows 10 as we speak. The big benefit of this laptop is that it has a spare M2 42mm SATA connection - so you can keep the mechanical hard drive installed (use for a data drive) and use the M2 SATA as the boot drive.
Thanks to Bespoke (+ a £25 voucher), I got a ZTC 128GB M2 SATA drive for a combined £12! Should make for a great laptop for my client once it is all set up.
The only disappointment - the screen is pretty ropey!

I'll now get that second cashback form completed - then just cross my fingers
HP have been very reliable with these cashbacks (and so they should). Obviously lots of stock to get rid of (and with win7 on them - very useful if you don't want/need 8 or 10).
