Thanks to this thread for the idea and all details on there for claiming cashback from HP.

hotukdeals.com/tag/dea…281

Topcashback are currently offering 15.75% cashback on anything purchased through Bespoke "beat my price".

I submitted the laptop link from ebuyer which was £352 yesterday and they came back to me with an offer of £314.85.

I then went through Topcashback and purchased the laptop using the "beat my price" link.

My cashback has already tracked at £49.77.

So if I successfully claim my £50 HP cashback and £150 HP Trade in..the laptop will cost me approx £65.

Hope this helps someone

Topcashback renewed but at 14.7%

Please note that "beat my price" didn't accept links from all companies. I tried several which it rejected but accepted ebuyer

Resolution 1366 x 768 HD

£150 TRADE In is for business users. Not sure if you can get that?

You're seriously trolling about the screen resolution which IS HD on a deal where you can possibly get a brand new laptop for £65? Dear me you really need to get out more.

Also, that link shows the promotional period was only valid in July...? Ignore that, seperate section for August. Oops!

Shouldn't be a problem. It's been discussed on the other thread.

You'll be getting in trouble again lol!
I do agree with you though, many retailers don't list this, and entry level resolution hasn't changed in 10 years for laptops, but it has for almost every other LCD gadget.

Can you take the hard drive out of the laptop you trade in?

Just making people aware, as it wasn't in title or op. Bring on the hate though, I embrace it.

Yeh they never give the full trade in

'This offer may not be combined with any other promotion' .... their terms and conditions for the trade-in , so maybe you wouldnt get the £50 cashback from HP as well ?

They did for my two battered xp machines.

Depends on the specs.

The last deal was infact 1600 × 900 native resolution, not posted in the OP.

Someone has to do it. Not sure why it gets so much hate.

Does a purchase via bespoke qualify for both cashbacks?

Brilliant deal and I am sure people are frantically signing up on Bespoke.

Shouldn't affect the HP cashback as there will be no mention of the bespoke cashback on the laptop receipt

Just had a look and eBuyer are actually quoting the trade-in, making it available for £212. Possibility if using the other options as well, apart from Bespoke?

Have you had this confirmed by HP are are you just hazarding a guess as its in their terms and conditions that you specifically cannot combine promotional offers?
Edited by: "rooney10" 19th Aug 2015

also where is the cheapest place to buy a 9" tablet from , preferably new so it can be traded in for the full amount without worrying about HP coming up with a 'fault'

Heated for not just the price but for Rep to poster who gave you the idea...exemplary HUKD'ing...

I agree to a point, all tech deals should include spec in description (screen size and Res, CPU type and speed, Memory type and speed and Storage type and speed at the very least.

But you posting just the Screen res helps no-one...if you are really trying to be helpful why not add the CPU/Ram/Storage as well as the screen res...

so you get £150 for trading in your old laptop to hp , is this correct? anfd does it have to be a hp that you you send to them?
as ive got a crappy old toshiba could i send this?

The company you buy the laptop from might have already claimed the both HP promotion monies!

Thanks OP ordered mine £317.69.
Just waiting for Topcashback.

For your Trade-in to qualify for the promotion it must be a working, complete and undamaged, (reasonable wear and tear accepted) Laptop (minimum 10” screen size), Tablet (minimum 9” screen size) or Desktop. Your Trade-in must be no more than 6 years old (age limitations are not applicable to genuine Microsoft XP computers) and complete with all accessories including working battery and power supply where applicable.

I bought it when this thread was live: hotukdeals.com/dea…071

I can confirm I got £150 off for a 9-year old HP Pavilion with XP and £75 in cashback. Took about 2 months to get £150 and another month to get £75 but I got it. Laptop cost £75 in the end. Not great spec, but worth £75!

Why does someone posting a fact about the deal, in the deals thread, upset you so much?

Must've been the way you pointed it out... Try,

"The resolution is 1366 x 768 HD on this laptop and well worth £65 if cashback and trade in comes through. But I just thought I'd point it out to those who don't already know."

This cashback/trade in has been going on for some time. Just look back over the older threads. All the questions are answered there. And yes I have had it confirmed and more importantly paid out. The eligible purchases may have changed, but the T&Cs have remained the same.

i got an offer of £313 what do you do next?
