This seems a cracking deal assuming the cashback gets paid and judging by other threads when previously posted there is no reason why it shouldn't.

Plus a possible 3% cashback from Quidco/Topcashback

Cheapest it's been for a while. It was £250 a few weeks ago when I bought one.
Damn getting cheaper and cheaper
Are CCL a HP Preferred Partner ?

Just need to be a little cautious as they could refuse the claim as per their T&Cs
Hot!
Is the cash back offer still on? All I could find states cash back expires end of May 2012?

Never had a problem with CCL in the past but agree Amazon customer service is great.
Wow, this is ultra cheap!

It only suggests where to get the claim form from not that they are a preffered partner.

Check HP's site and search by name, postcode or even city, and CCL doesn't appear on any list.....

I've bought two from CCL in the past and got two lots of cashback, there are loads of threads on here regarding CCL and microserver cashback!

Given they are a respectable company I really doubt they would answer as they have if they weren't but just like the Amazon deal you pays your money and takes your chance.

Surely it's just the invoice date that matters, they won't know when it was delivered, will they?
I'll fire the promotions team an email tomorrow and see what they say about CCL.

They are actually very quick to reply and a nice friendly company to deal with.

I'd have ordered this on the spot if I could have found CCL in the preferred partner list.

Where is the list ? The link i followed from pdf just want to flog me ink cfb
I currently have a Thecus N2200, with 2 x 2tb hard drives and am almost out of disk space. Would I better buying this rather than a new 4bay NAS?
Anyone know how much the HP Carepack costs?

edit 96 quid before cashback not worth it.

HPs website will allow you to search for preferred partners - no matter what I put in on the search (company name / postcode / location etc) I couldn't find CCL.
Isn't this basically £209 as you need next day delivery to get it on wednesday, free delivery might be as late as the 3rd and so not able to claim cashback?

Here we go again;

1. Are CCL an HP preferred partner .... appears so
2. Are CCL supplying UK stock rather than European stock .... don't know
3. Given the low price will HP/Promotions company reject it because they can .... don't know.

Bargain if it comes off.

1. Appears so
2. Model numbers match so if they supply what is on their site it should be fine.
3. They will find out how loud I can shout if they give me any trouble lol.
I paid the £5.99 for Wednesday delivery and paid Via paypal funded with CC. Any trouble and I'll dispute it

I have just checked a couple of invoices for previous CCL orders and there is an invoice date, a shipped date, as well as a delivery method which in my case for the two previous orders was a 'collect' and 'DPD 5-7 day'.
Just ordered

As a side note, the 3% Quidco cashback is based on the ex-vat price so will be around a fiver which just about pays for next day delivery (now Wednesday as its a Bank Holiday)

Hmm I take it you weren't a part of the previous farce with Lambdatek where it would have been about £90 inc cashback.

1. Lambdatek was a PP
2. Model no's matched and some other HP partner stated on the website that European models have a different model no.
3. Promo company / HP challenged Lambatek stock stating it was cheap and therefore was from Europe and even questioned their PP status. No cashback was honoured on that.

Yeah LT said they were preferred and would not comment on whether cashback would be accepted, stock came from Netherlands so was not from UK distributor which is why HP declined cashback

if this pays back, it looks like a good deal. if it doesn't, i'll just wish i'd got a QNAP TS-412 .
?
damn I would totally buy another one if I could think if something to use it for

Alternatively you could just take a risk and hope that HP announce a new rebate ending on September 30th ... think they've had a history of doing this!
I cant believe they still have these and are promoting them!
It is a cracking deal. I have been running mine 24/7 for many months now and i love it.

Core of my home network. I paid 25 quid more. Well worth it at this price.
Cashback does take the full 45 days + a few to be paid in most cases it seems.

Look @ the claim form - you need a serial number from the delivery box/kit to claim, which isn't usually provided on an invoice.
Nice machines, I've had the slower model for a year, am having one of these, better than any NAS in most every respect (*bigger+noiser perhaps). superb for the money. I've claimed these HP refunds b4, can't see them going to wriggle on this, just do it peeps.

Yes agreed but you have another 28 days to send off claim form and be received by outbound so it's not critical to get delivery before 31/8/12 just invoice date before that date?
invoice date - doesn't matter when you get it as long as invoice date is on or before 31st August
