£129(NEW) looks to be the cheapest at moment from Pc World. There were some refurbs going for 90-ish earlier this week.

£92, listing has ended lol. Only £208 at Tesco!

Just passing on my baton..

Here's last weeks deal via Argos where it was possible to get it for £89.99...

May be of interest...

hotukdeals.com/dea…e=2

a good price but I was put off by the luke warm reviews,

pcpro.co.uk/rev…e-7

ended up getting an Asus memo pad 7, 16gb, much better reviews,

pcpro.co.uk/rev…d-7

from Tesco listed for £99, then use TDX-HD6P to get £10 off orders over £75, so just £89, plus the clubcard points

tesco.com/dir…mem

Not voted either way as its a good price for this tablet (or any branded one, to be fair) but personally I think you can get a leap in performance for a tenner more.

Edit for donkeykonk, its listed as £99.99 at Argos now, so if you could get cashback and use voucher it'd be even cheaper!

Please tell us where you can buy the Asus memo pad HD7 for £89.99, thanks (That deal would get very hot if you posted it)

(The Asus MemoPad 7 is under £100, but not the new HD7 which is what the review you posted refers to)

The asus memopad hd7 is a very different beast to the asus memopad 172 that tesco are selling for £99.99..

That review is for a different product, the HD version. The version that's listed in your Tesco link is not as good and appears to have only a single core CPU, which isn't great (probably).

HP Direct are also doing it for £99 - That way you deal direct with the manufacturer and skip the middle man.

Can I use the £20 voucher I received from Curry's in the tablet case offer they had last week?

Personally I would get the Nexus 7 (2012) from ebay, refurbished or just 2nd hand for about £80-£100. Much better resolution screen, better community support and more up to date firmware - capable running Android 4.3

I bought one of these and the WiFi stopped working after a day. However it is a good price.

1024x600 is a terrible resolution for a tablet. I second the Nexus 7 - it should have much more life left in it than this budget tablet.

Pretty sure my nexus 7 upgraded to 4.3 last week, I now have the option of limited account profiles anyway.

Yeah same here, unlimited account profiles, along with a few more features. Its just a much better tablet overall. I can understand people wanting to buy this tab because you get some money off, and its new, but at the end of the day the Nexus 7 will perform much better.

1024 x 600 is a really poor res. Most phones beat it nowadays.

Yeah, a pretty dissapointing review: engadget.com/201…ew/

Amazing price, but a refurbished Nexus 7 being just a few quid more, its worth spending that little bit extra...

The cash back offer has finished at Currys and the price has been lowered instead. I work there.

If only they did it in 10 inch..

Does this have GPS? I assume it does but can't see anything on the listing

Just been to have a look at one of these at the local PC World.

Screen resolution looks awful though build quality feels excellent. I didn't buy one.

The cashback is not from currys/pc world, its from HP - follow link above for details.

No. No GPS.

Its a bargain because curry's are giving away £50 voucher with £100 spent then £20 cash back that effectively only cost you £30 for the tablet win win win.

yep just picked one up from my local curry's store for daughter i got £50 voucher to spend on £200 spent in September and i claimed the £20 cash back from HP valid till the end of this month August 31st. So effectively the tablet cost £29.99. Now if that's not a bargain i don't know what is.

To use between a very short period in September and minimum £200 spend .... good luck !!!

But you'll have to buy something from Currys in that few weeks in September otherwise voucher is useless ..

Yes i am going to buy something the ipad mini or 32gb nexus 2013 model so you see it is of some use for some people.

terrible because of what? because there are tablets that have resolution 4000x5000 or whatever?

have 12'' (not 7'') thinkpad tablet with resolution 1024x768 and it's perfectly fine, so on 7'' screen that resolution must be more than adequate ...

I bought for the kids they dont look at resoulotion dpi pixels whatever it was perfect.

Anyone any advice on this situation... sent off my receipt to hp for the cashback offer after buying the tablet at the end of August. A line has just appeared on the tablet screen that won't go away even after resetting. If I return for an exchange I'm afraid I'll lose my cashback with hp, is this correct?

I hope the dimensions in the OP are for the box... (_;)

Got my £20 cash back today. It shows up on your bank statement as TLC MARKETING UK who are the ones running the cash back promotion from HP.
