HP give £20 cashback on the Slate 7 on any bought in August. Steal at this price, if you have the 20% off voucher.

You would have to have the £20 off voucher in last Saturdays Daily Telegraph.
The other £20 is claimed back from HP.

Could you change the title and put it in the description, this is misleading. I'm sure the majority of people that see this post won't have the telegraph voucher.

The Telegraph voucher was a one off in last Saturdays Telegraph newspaper. Got a lot of heat on here, but probably too late now, (no digital version, etc)

If you have the voucher this is great. Well done poster. Most deals don't help everyone but quite a few people may have one laying around-I have unfortunately I've used it.

You shouldn't really be suggesting £59.99, becuase not everyone have the £20 Daily Telegraph voucher from last week. This is a deal for only some out there.

Yes misleading indeed, still its a deal for those who were able to get it

[quote=dilse]You shouldn't really be suggesting £59.99, because not everyone have the £20 Daily Telegraph voucher from last week. This is a deal for only some out there.[/quote

As are most deals on here, loads excluded by distance, etc, etc. Still a deal. Shame no GPS.

So it is a deal? Otherwise, what you are saying is that people shouldn't post deal that are only available to some. Perhaps because they happen to live where a deal is area specific?

If someone has a copy of the Telegraph from Saturday but didn't see the voucher then this is a great deal. If you don't then don't moan - it's still deal!

I think the OP is done ideally, has the upfront price clearly marked, and the possible hot price clearly marked as a possible price.

I see my comment (which is not a moan) has bothered you... A voucher should be posted seperate, and referenced as an additional bonus...

just fished my voucher out of the recycle bin! For £60 it has to be done. Just remember to add a cheap clearence item to take the total bill over £100 to grab the discount. I managed to had a 50p O'Neil phone cover.

I don't think that's what he means, so just calm down a bit. When the poster originally posted this deal, obviously before you saw it, the title stated "£59.99 with £20 voucher and £20 cashback", but no elaboration on the voucher or where to find it, or the fact you had to already have it, in the title or description. Now it has been changed it is clear, but before it was definitely misleading.

Might be worth the OP adding possibley £20 from Daily Telegraph voucher, in the Title. This would clear up all issues

No because they have now put "from last saturday", so I believe it is clear enough.

Dunno what people are complaining about, price very clearly indicated by OP - with extra discounts listed too.
Well done, a concise summary of the options in the title - some people struggle to indicate even the product!

Yes! Finally somthing I can use my vouceher on! Cheers OP

posted in other thread, but as this and the Ideatab A1000 are both getting heat for being cheap, comparison here

lol.. Typo on my part, corrected

bobbi, I asked similar Q about Argos being part of the offer- I can answer my own question, yes Argos are included

hpslate7rewards.com/

can't see what Argos offering a voucher will effect HP giving cashback, its different organisations running a promotion and taking a loss.

Are the Daily Telegraph vouchers generic?
Can anyone scan one in to share, then it's a deal !

Got my mum searching through her newspaper pile.

Worryingly, when I asked her she said ''is that the day there were none left''?

advice please, bought this item couple of days ago before price drop of £30, not using telegraph voucher btw
Is there anything I can do is should I go back to Argos and talk to manager?

If anyone lives in the Mansfield/Nottinghamshire area and are thinking about getting one(or maybe more) there are 3 in stock at the Oak tree store and three in stock at the Rosemary centre store in town.

I started my response to that comment 1 minute after it had been posted. I'd seen the title clearly stating Telegraph at that point so I am confident that when they posted the title had been changed.

How do you know when I saw it? I could have been the very first person to see the deal after it was posted!

Now, the point of the post I replied to was not to do with the misleading title (as in the absence of The Telegraph) but it seemed to be that the person posting the deal "shouldn't really be suggesting £59.99, becuase not everyone have the £20 Daily Telegraph". That's not what you're getting at.

They sounded more like one of the many people on here who moan when they can't get a deal that others can.

The voucher shouldn't even come into it. It's gone now.

It'd be better to say 79.99 with cashback, but, hey, why not use that voucher if you've got one? (which you probably haven't)

Can't be hot I haven't got £59.99.

I have really!

Mind you I won't have if I keep looking on here.

Fair enough, and yes, it is a great deal if you were lucky enough to cut out and keep the voucher from the daily telegraph.
