Google when the hinge breaks!

I'd wait for the 7th Gen Intel core processor which should come out any time now

i would have to agree, my last HP needed me to remove the keyboard before increasing the ram...was a budget model at £500.....

Without doubt the most beautiful laptop you can buy right now. Actually build quality with this model seems pretty good.

That's a design issue not build quality and is an odd choice unless it was a very small form factor.

Very was doing it for 950 on black friday plus 10% off for new customers and 100quid cashback from Hp and that was a deal

3 year JL warranty trumps that easily for me

I have a HP laptop, jesus christ I had to disassemble the whole bloody thing to put more memory and an SSD in there, ridiculous!

almost 2 years in a spectre x360... hinges are like day 1. Spectre is a very durable laptop.

Hi - anyone having the touchscreen ghosting problem and found a fix (apart from returning/replacing)?
See: https://www.google.co.uk/search?q=hp+touchscreen+ghost+problem&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8

Pretty poor show for such an £££ laptop.

Odd. I have a HP laptop and the entire underside slides off when you release a couple of catches, giving access to RAM etc in seconds with no tools required. Guess it just depends on which model you have.

Just ordered from John Lewis at this price. No sign of a £100 cashback deal though.
Still a good price compared with competitors.
If the hinges on these things *are* dodgy, the free 3 year JL warranty come in handy.
