Very expensive. Only for those with money no object.
Just a reminder that any students (or those with access to a student) HP give pretty good student discounts through UniDays - probably the cheapest way to get this and the more reasonably priced models if it's an option for you.

Spectre X360 is a superb laptop, though almost certainly overkill for most users - 16Gb RAM/4K screen good for those who need to do video editing on the go though.

I've got the 2017 version, and this new one is a fair step up. I prefer the look of mine though
It's a great laptop, amazing specs and look, but almost 2K... Thanks, but no thanks...

The price of laptops is going crazy - absolutely nuts whether it is Dell, Lenovo, HP, etc. Even the cheaper brands are now ramping their prices. Worse, having been reading the support forums in recent weeks the reliability and build quality of these things is bordering on atrocious IMP.

Vote cold not just for silly price but because OP did not put 'laptop' in the deal so I only came across this by chance.

Yep the fools paying a way high price for mobile phones is whats doing it, phones costing the same as a good/fair spec laptop (i put the blame on Apple) just getting greedy now but people will still pay it just to have the newest phone

Been watching videos this week of the high failure rate in Dell XPS laptop - they start about £1200 now and go up over 2 grand.

People get faults with them - they just stop working - have to send them back to Dell for repair and often are getting someone else's so-called 'refurbished' laptop back - often with scratched lids, cases, even finger-prints behind the screen... and all this within the first 12 months of having forked out the silly money for such laptops.

Or people on Lenovo forums having bought expensive Yoga machines and saying that they are being driven by excessively loud fan noise - and seemingly no interest from Lenovo in acknowledging the problem let alone fixing it.

Sadly, even low specced laptops are now £500 to £600. It is crazy. I did want to buy a decent laptop but my mindset is coming around to buying the cheapest possible.

Laptops are pretty expensive but you can get an 8th gen i5 laptop with 8gb ram for about £500.
Whether or not that is worth the money is up to you to decide.
Got the 2017 model, ok so far, no issues and considering that my fiance used the thing I will say really good build quality.
