I've been looking to buy a convertible laptop for a few weeks and came across this. The top detaches from the keyboard to become a rather large (relatively heavy tablet). Quite clever in my opinion.

Its the 4th gen i5 processor with a 64GB SSD and a 500gb hard drive. The touch screen isnt HD, but that doesnt bother me.

Full specs at the link.

I can't find a reference to the i5 4200U processor being used in this tablet in its HP service manual. I suspect it might actually be the i5 4200Y. Definitely worth checking if you are considering getting this.

Gimmicky for me, much better laptops for this price.

Hi reckoning. What do u recommened. Looks similar spec to Macbook Air at half the price. Hot from me.

It's a good spec for a hybrid I just don't love the hybrids, or HP stuff if I'm honest, been looking at these... There's 3 models although the mobile site isn't showing them all for some reason. SSD aside, has 4th gen core i3 (not i5) Haswell processor etc. its £329 with 10% off making it £296 at checkout until Tues with the code on here:

Found this to be the best hybrid spec for the price. I did have a play with it in John Lewis earlier, it works as a normal laptop perfectly fine except that the screen comes off when needed. Two batteries and two hard drives is what did it for me. It was amongst the best in terms of battery life too.

John Lewis might pricematch this giving the extra year's warranty. They have exact same model. johnlewis.com/hp-…515

Review here....doesn't sound too good especially the screen

Was very tempted by one. Best touch screen laptop I tried in PC world & the ability to have it as a tablet was a real plus.

The tablet can be charged without docking it, which is a plus if going away & need to save weight.

Screen res seemed fine but it can send video over wifi to another screen if you want to watch a film etc.

If john Lewis match the price, then it's a cracking deal! In my opinion.

The pcpro review is of the i3 processor. This has an i5.

John lewis won't price match I'm afraid. The model number is slightly different.

why not just get a surface pro for the price? better screen and better keyboard

That's exactly what I was thinking. Don't quite see the deal here?

£359 for a Surface Pro, i5, Windows 8.1 etc.

Surface Pro's (the one you linked) only has a 64gb hard drive, and no keyboard included as far as I know.
