Purchased this for a Christmas present in the Black Friday sale.
Why would anyone want to pay 50p for a 2x3" print /sticker (shock). I really don't get these things.

I've decided to get one of these for my ten year old daughter. She'll love being able to print out her photos taken on a phone. I thought about an Instax but this is a better compromise. No one above adolescence is really going to have much use for one.

How much was this on Black Friday? Unfortunately this hadn't occurred to me as an option until afterwards.

As a deal, this doesn't seem that good. The only difference is the additional pack of paper and it's out of stock for delivery and most places for C&C.

This is obviously cuter and more portable, but was also wondering about the Canon Selphy.

I guess it depends on the desired quality of print, portability, photo size and usage. This was never going to be a 'value for money' for purchase but it seemed to have the most for the RRP.
Definitely worthwhile to consider other brands and paper cost!
can't help thinking that this will end up in the drawer with the fidget spinners and fingerlings, having proven to be an expensive gimmick
Good deal including the paper

It'll end up being donated to the local charity shop when they see the price of paper and ink.

Selphy would be my choice, but not my daughter's. Selphy needs power, battery is another £40. It may be portable but it's not mobile. I'm hoping this will encourage her interest in photography, so I don't mind the ongoing cost if it does.
