Regardless of the 2 prices shown I have no idea why voted cold...Heat given. Cracking deal and purchased for my son but use it more often than him. Spec good, quality is good and does just the job.
Same price at PC World.
I'm looking for a laptop for my 9 year old

He wants it mainly to play mine craft and some other games -
Would this be any good

Could some one please give me advise as I do not have a clue about laptops and what any of the specs mean

These are no good for games, the processor is the same as the the one you find in tablets. These are just for email, basic web browsing and typing the odd word document etc. If you want gaming laptop, you need to open your money sacks. Cold as was cheaper a month ago from Microsoft.

It will run Minecraft but I would go with a laptop with 4Gb and a beefier processor, plenty out there for £250 ish.
