You can run Skyrim at 20fps on this. I'm not kidding.

Pretty good price. If you're looking at this and thinking it needs more RAM take a look on the dell outlet for refurbished Venue 8 tablets since they're not much more expensive.

I would say that if you are looking for a tablet that runs all the popular apps & games then stick with android or IOS. This will not run windows phone apps unless they have been specifically written for the win8 x86 store.

However, if you are looking for a portable device than runs all your normal windows (x86) apps then its a pretty good deal. Examples might be old accounting software that you can't get elsewhere or computer game emulators. The Skyrim example above is a good one too.

Dont think this is for the average joe but it is tempting if you have specific needs, or just like having a pocket-sizes laptop

Cold from me, as RufusG says its cheaper from the the Microsoft Store and that one is the Signature Edition model that doesn't have unnecessary bloatware.

Cold, as above can be bought for £75. Debating getting one of these or the 8inch Linx from very

I have this tablet and the missus has a linx 7.
The linx has a better screen (the hp has some serious edge light bloom), the linx has HDMI the hp doesn't, and the linx feels far more solid.

I do like the HP but the Linx is better and cheaper imo.

Definitely get the HP Signature edition from MS Store £74.99

If you could get the HP for £49.99 would you still prefer the Linx?

Just received mine. Its fast and really well built, if not a tad thick. (Like me)
Suddenly windows 8 makes sense after having used it on my laptop.
