It's dangerous, though. You just have to tap it, and you die.
Literally no idea what this does so naturally I've bought 4 in HUKD tradition

If you don't know what it is then you certainly need to buy at least one of these
(it makes threads for nuts and bots, screw threads and such like)

Edit: also makes threads in BOLTS

Ooops damn typographical errors
HSS. I expect this is only good for soft metals??
HSS is the way to go, much better than carbon steel which are usually used on softer metals such as brass.
My head will be well clean both externally and internally now.

Could this be used to remove a spun glow plug from a engine?

You really need the cylinder head removed as if you bore and tap the old one out you will leave the cylinder bore full of swarf.

Well I laughed
Reviews are bad
Be OK for very light diy use at that price
Very handy for those occasions you come across nuts and bolts without threads.

No. High Speed Steel is what most cutters etc are made from, or was until carbide became more available.
Been after a new set for a while.

Anyone used these long term?

Will only get occasional use from me.
