Buy a OnePlus 3 and save another £138!!
Wouldn't recommend one plus 3 just sent one back.. It took them weeks to send it and then had nothing but hassle trying to sort out why it kept going on silent for no apparent reason... Great shame really wanted one plus to work out but after suffering other problems with one plus x have finally given up on them!

Mine went back for being unstable. WiFI would disconnect, touch screen had issues on occasion.

Was really impressive when it worked, but way to glitchy.

Stick with HTC. They do a 2 year warranty as well for your convenience. I use the M8 and it's still a great phone.
I always had HTC until last year. Far too many HTC apps to update, it got worse and worse, that wasn't including all the Google apps etc.
Bought the Nexus 6P Google phone, best move I ever made. Still get Google updates but that's all. I still have a soft spot for HTC but all those unnecessary updates wore me down.

Will the price come down more soon I wonder
could wait for the next nexus phones (both HTC), should be similar spec, but no bloatware and hopefully cheaper, must admit though i am using a M9 which is my first HTC and its a great phone.

Agree.... very unreliable...my Oneplus X kept cutting out during calls...not a good scenario when using it for business!

I had a HTC M7 you know the one that took green pictures and the blown speakers that takes HTC a month to repair? Think I'll stick with OnePlus ta!!

the reason why htc have a lot of apps to update is because they decided to put them on the play store and update them that way instead of sending out firmware updates, i personally prefer it that way as if there is a bug with an update they are pretty quick to release another update to fix the issue. if it was left to firmware ota updates you will most probably be waiting a long time
also on the htc 10 they have removed any duplicate apps and just left the google ones on there so this should be less of a problem with this phone
Got the Oneplus x too. Not sure if Wi-Fi cuts out or not-turn screen on, and Wi-Fi icon takes a second or so to show.

Think I'll wait and see what the new HTC Nexus will be like though-hopefully even cheaper than this.

Had (in fact wife still has the 3 year m7), and must say, was the best phone I ever had. By far the best, most natural screen ever-only let down by a mediocre camera in dark light. And funny enough, now have an Oneplus x now too which is just work-but worth every penny.

Fixed in latest OTA update.
Genuinely had both phones and now settled on the OP3. With the most recent update everything runs perfectly for me and I couldn't justify the extra for the HTC 10. In fact I had a few issues with mine overheating under normal usage. Good deal though!

Is the oneplus 3 really that bad? This is putting me off of buying one. Maybe HTC is the way to go...
im confused as it does not state if its 32gb or 64gb?
I sincerely absolutely love mine and haven't had a single issue with it!
Note 7 coming out on Tuesday
I upgraded to the HTC 10 from the ONE M7. brilliant phone. Really. Recently put the battery to the test whilst travelling on holiday with an overnight stop over to visit family. Battery lasted 2 days. A proper 48 hours with moderate use (taking lots of photos, internet usage, maps & navigation, E-mail etc) and still had 22% battery life left when I plugged it in to charge and that was only using battery optimising, not extreme power saving. Really impressive as far as I'm concerned, and on my birthday, my wife gave me a decent set of studio monitor headphones which make the music sound amazing from the high quality DAC within the HTC 10.
Like someone already said, they have really streamlined the amount of apps that bloat your limited storage. If Google provide the app, that's what you get. If not, try HTC or another 3rd party app.
I have a 64GB sandisk extreme pro U3 card running along with (formatted as internal) the 32GB on board storage to ensure I'll never run out of space.
Great phone. HTC upped their game
I've had a Desire, One X, M7, M8 and currently M9 (only bought that recently because I couldn't find a deal this good on a 10 grrrr) - honestly not had a single problem with any of them, epic phones (apart from maybe the cameras not being up to scratch for some users, good enough for my needs).

Heat!

I'm sure they will. They are doing the next nexus which should provide them with some boost and make up for lost ground.

To be honest I've had the same problem with Samsung and HTC support in the past. Had to wait weeks for the phone to get returned to me even for a relatively simple issue. Had to chase up both constantly. HTC support were arguably marginally better than Samsung support IMO.
worth keeping an eye on Amazon warehouse, I've had an m7 m8, sony z3 z5, samsung galaxy 6 and 7 edge. All were stated as damaged slightly and the price reflected this however all have arrived absolutely mint. So much so that they were moved on for a nice profit. I know it's pot luck but you always have the chance to send back for free within 30 days if not happy. I often wait until they are running a 20% off warehouse deals like they did for the recent prime day. They seem to update the stock around 11pm - 1am.
I did once have a problem with an m7 that I kept, it simply wouldn't accept the updates and was branded as Vodafone. I contacted HTC who advised that this was car phone warehouse stock and to take it up with them. I asked Amazon to explain why they had sold me a phone from another retailer and they just offered a full refund - this was about 14 months after purchase so hats off to them.
I'm using an ulefone power at the min and whilst the battery is great the camera is incredibly poor, I want to go back to HTC
According to 'Stuff', the HTC 10 sits between the expensive Galaxy S7 Edge (losing out by 1 point, 35 vs 34), and ridiculously priced iPhone 6s;

Why are people here comparing it to a budget handset?

Let me set this straight, after an m7 m8, sony z3 z5, samsung galaxy 6 and 7 edge, you are using ULEFONE?
How? Why? When? but seriously, Why?

Because it's HTC, not any better than a budget phone.
Certainly not in the same team as Apple/Samsung, sale figure wise.

The sales figures part is true, but we all know that the other two companies have an infinitely larger marketing budget.

Whilst I don't want you to take this comparison literally, as that would be silly, I'm pretty sure Skoda sell more cars than Ferrari...

....:| Are you seriously reviewing the phone by units sold? Judge the handset, not the business accounts.

It's definitely in the same league as the S7, I had a thorough play with it last week in Dubai mall, surprisingly light to use.

This gets good reviews, with £100 off it's a pretty good deal. I was looking at the Oneplus 3 but various forums mention small annoying problems. The oneplus 3 going silent is something to with one of the slide controls, it also disables the volume. The next nexus phone is expected to be based on the HTC10.

Motorola do the same. I think it's great. That way you get regular direct app updates, instead of relying on a firmware update.
