Yeah looks like a great phone.
Really impressed with this. Looks great & seems to have top of the line camera, battery, audio, screen and design.
Will have to wait for the reviews to know for sure but £512 is not bad to get on Day 1.

Reviews not out for this yet but if all is as they say then both great devices. Comes down to personal preference.
For me the metal design of the 10 is too beautiful to pass up

Thanks for the info added to description.
Have been a Samsung, and currently a Nexus owner and I got to admit this phone looks very appealing.

The camera seems to be as good as the Samsung S7 too, which is promising...

The hands-on reviews have been favourable, the S7 Edge has a slightly larger screen. I prefer more screen real estate so i'm likely to stick with going for the Edge if i can find a decent deal, though it's surprised me what HTC have done. Nothing game changing but a very favourable phone.
I have a htc one m8 and tempted by this. Just hope the camera is on point this time

Same, but either way the one m8 was a great phone. So quick due to clean software
It's from the Hopeless Telephone Company. Flaws and complaints to surface after the launch hype dies down.
The problem with HTC is that they release a flagship phone and then 2 months later they release a slightly updated version, doesn't fill me with confidence.

Most, if not all companies other than Apple do that.
Camera on this phone is on par if not better than the S7
Phew, saves me from getting an s7 Edge, couldn't live with the design cues it copied from Apple.

If you can wait a bit, I would say wait a month after release and check personal reviews as well as critical reviews. It should highlight any issues which people have.
this has objectively the BEST* camera on the market right now
*according to dxmark
** on par with S7 edge

Small battery for a powerful phone. I understand they want to keep the phones small and compact (I personally would have preferred a bigger screen) but battery capacity must go up as the spec does.
Gonna take a good look at this. Got an S6 edge right now, and camera aside (wow!), I'm not overly impressed. Having had apple and HTC in the past my best experiences have always been with HTC due to the beautifully intuitive UI.
Unfortunately after buying the M9 last year I wouldn't ever buy a HTC again.

Worst phone that I have ever owned

Yeah that's me but I think I'll wait 6 weeks as you'll be able to buy HTC Corp for £400

By the power of Greyskull!
It has awesome specs but looks a bit... Chunky and unwieldy?

Yeah I know... cos thats when I bought it... What I'm saying is the interface on my HTC one was MUCH better than the interface on the S6 Edge... too many pointless touches needed on the S6 and the out of the box widgets are rubbish.

Exactly what i was thinking too. Unless you have owned and used a HTC, you don't appreciate the small things that matter and does not exist in Samsung or LG. None of the reviews suggest that. Yes, other manufacturers have they have their own gimmicks, but not as polished as HTC. I agree, M9 was a shame for HTC. I have it and hate it now but holding for a upgrade.. I also have a G3 now and had a Samsung S6 in between too.
I am not a gamer, so cant comment on the .0001% difference in performance or 2% heating difference between phones, that matter to most reviewers.

I still love my HTC M7 that i gave on to my wife. Still going strong.

I dont want pointless innovation, or for a company to try add value where there is none to be added. I want all the negative points of good existing phones to be addressed such as **** battery life and then I will be happy.
I'm definitely getting one, although tempted to wait for O2 Refresh deals to appear..

Battery life won't be good. 3000mah is not enough these days.
Had an M8 and M9 and both riddled with issues. Software, battery etc. Shame because the M7 was one of my fave devices. Staying away from this one unfortunately.

agree but still better than the edge at 2600mah.. If only some of these chinese phones could produce a phone with a solid camera..
got the M8 and HTC have been great with the updates.

also gotta love those Boomsound speakers
