The price have now dropped even lower than previously posted deals.
Here are some f the features of the phone.
- 5.5" Super LCD Screen, 2560 x 1440 pixels, 534 ppi
- 16MP main camera with Optical Image Stabilisation and ultra-fast autofocus
- 3200mAh battery and Quick Charge technology
- HTC BoomSound™ Adaptive Audio
- 32Gb, 3GB RAM, microSD
- Qualcomm® Snapdragon™ 810, octa-core, up to 2.0 Ghz
-IP57 weather resistant
-NFC +Google Pay
-USB - C

Seems to be excellent price to value ratio. The older processor easily beats a lot of the 6-series processors. Some reviews are not very enthusiastic but bear in mind that they were written when the phone was priced around £500 mark. Bought from global before - my wife's phone arrived within a week with no customs to pay.
If you don't like it - CEX will buy it from you for almost the same price.

Yeah, saw this great deal, plus if all fails, cex are handing out £118 for a Grade A, and £140 in cex vouchers, win win.
Heat!
How does this compare to say the huawei honor series ?
Still using this as my daily driver, had it 6-8 weeks now!
No regrets.
Great camera, average battery, great QHD screen - but a little faint in direct sunshine on bright day.
You'll get some bore, telling you the SD 810 processor is awful.
It gets a bit warm in use, but not terribly hit unless you are playing a demanding game.
Very rarely hangs and loads all average apps with ease and no stuttering with multiple app open!
The build quality is amazing and feels like a £500 phone.
It also has NFC and works with Google Pay.
If you're a Vodafone user, some people have reported the phone doesn't work, so I'm guessing doesn't support that LTE band even though the specs on website says it does.
No issues on EE or Three.
Runs Android 7, rumours are it should get Android 8 Oreo, but not holding by breath.
It's not perfect, but doubt much else will match it for 100 smackers!

A1 has a more stable and battery efficient processor. Also newer and basically stock android so will get updates for longer. You can also buy it new for pretty cheap. Most versions have more memory and storage.

The HTC, will have better speakers and headphones. It will have a sharper screen and a better design.

I'm not sure which has the better camera, you get dual lenses with the A1, but ois with the HTC.

I'd personally edge towards the A1, but depends what your priorities are!
Will their be import tax on this

As a back up phone, I think you'll be fine with either.

Side by side specs comparison here: m.gsmarena.com/com…776

To add to what the others have said, A1 also has infra-red port & standard 3.5mm jack, but no dust+water resistance & compass like the 10Evo has.
Had mine 4 weeks now. Compared to Moto G4+
Negatives: Battery life is just woeful, It heats up to ridiculous levels of heat, speaker is crap not front facing and extremely tinny, no headphone jack, USB-C, low light photos are very very poor and full of noise.
Positives: Price, Screen is excellent, very fast in operation no lag whatsoever, 4K recording is good if you have good lighting, has fingerprint sensor.

Is this the HTC 10 model with a dedicated DAC onboard ?

The battery might be weak because of the High Res Screen. If possible see if you can change the res to a lower setting perhaps that may help

It's mainly caused by the chipset being so inefficient. You cant adjust screen res on a phone. All you can adjust is brightness which doesnt help much.

No, this is.the Evo variant - specs differences with the standard 10: m.gsmarena.com/com…884

EDIT: my bad about the audio...from: google.co.uk/amp…tml
"Both the HTC 10 Evo and the HTC 10 offer Hi-Res Audio support. The HTC 10 Evo has HTC's BoomSound Adaptive Audio and comes with BoomSound Adaptive Audio Hi-Res earphones, while the HTC 10 has BoomSound Hi-Fi Edition, Dolby Audio and Hi-Res audio headphones. However, the HTC 10 Evo uses USB Type-C for its headphones, not 3.5mm. Both devices come with Hi-Res headphones in the box."

Try using "Battery Saver" mode, it slightly dims the screen but not much...

Battery lasts so much longer and think it reduces the speed of the processor and does not get very hot. Not really noticed any performance differences with day to day use on the phone.
Be careful with this, it is not UK 4G. It will not work on all UK mobile networks, for me it did not work on Vodafone. Furthermore I was not able to return it (to be fair that was for toby deals) even though it was advertised as 4G and aimed at a UK market. Caveat Emptor. I am told it would work on three and EE but I have not tested it. Also it did not work in the USA when I recently travalled there (roaming on T-Mobile).

Plus points - it is dirt cheap and if you spend most of your time on wifi maybe it wont matter. But for me this was not a 'mobile' phone. There was no mention that it did not work on all UK 4G frequencies which i found to be somewhat dishonest.
As someone else has mentioned the key is to put battery saver on phone lasts lot longer.for the money it's good.ive had it and sold it as wanted on the 18.9 bandwagon.purchased a Xiaomi redmi note 5 global with Snapdragon 636 for 140.far far better phone.screen colors.camera.battery.general performance.ny advice is to get the Xiaomi global

Sell it to cex if you're not happy with it - you should get most of your money back.
Bin all the phone you have get the ONE PLUS 5, 5T OR THE 6 THE ARE THE BEST PHONE GOING AND u will never go back to a samsung or Htc
Used to love HTC, the m8 was a brilliant phone, now they seem to be less innovative though, isn't this a flagship from not so long ago? Amazing price if it is
This new or refurb?
Got mine when they originally came out and just sold it a month ago for £120 towards an iPhone X. It was a great phone served me well.

New.

Was just about to pull the trigger but this phone doesn't have a 3.5mm jack.
Don't buy that phone, just watch VoloKin Project's video on YouTube explaining about issues like no 4G and so on.
still 14 in stock
