has anyone got experience with buymobilephones??

Yes very good company (in my experience) ordered my motorola milestone a couple of weeks ago. Got it the next day. Had to pay £60 for the phone but got a free ps3 with move within a week. The same with my wife although she is still waiting for her ghd hair straightners. I know people will have had problems but what company is perfect. I did look at the desire but with the ps3 the phone would of cost £110.

I bought a phone from this company 8 months ago. customer care is very helpful.
I think its a very good deal for 18 months contract and no down payment ... heat added

ebay item 110608181188..

how do you find the milestone as see they have it on a not bad deal at the moment

What are T-mobile like? Never had any experience with them as a network.

t-mobile are alright. I think they're about the last big operator that won't stiff you if you go over the 'fair use policy' limit on data.

Good deal, got tmobile sim 300 mins unlimited data for £15, but £200 auto cashback and £25 from tcb on 24 month =£5.63 amonth. good company. Mate just got desire from voda 330 a month 24 month =£720, this deal is £430 he could of saved £290. also with tmobile you can use orange networks now.

super lcd? i thought it was amoled

T-Mobile's regular FUP is 1GB/mo, but 3GB/mo for Android handsets. Apparently, over this, they merely throttle your data rate, rather than cutting you off or charging per MB.

If your an an orange payg customer you can get the above deal but with unlimited texts for £22.50 a month on an 18 month.. or £15 on a 24.

I went for the 24 months one tho cause there aint much difference in overall cost.

Inclusive minutes and texts are from the UK to all UK mobiles and numbers starting with 01, 02 or 03 at any time. This doesn't cover Jersey, Guernsey and the Isle of Man

Voicemail with cost you too, or use Hullomail if you've got a smartphone.

The HD any day!
Although if you're not dead set on 18 Month & HTC then check this

£15 pm 300 Mins, 300 texts Unlimited Net
5 Months 1/2 Price by redemption

If you fancy a gamble with a redemption offer then mobiles.co.uk has the same deal, but with 7 months 1/2 price.

mobiles.co.uk/t-m…tml
T-Mobile - 25/month
18 months
300 min
300 texts
1GB FUP (3GB if you're lucky and manage to convince T-Mobile to upgrade you since you're on an Android mobile, but this happens rarely)

ASSUMING you get all your redemptions, effective monthly cost works out to 20.14/month.

Now I'm not sure about how good buymobilephone's customer service is but with mobiles.co.uk after the first 28 days you can walk into any Carphone Warehouse store and they should be able to sort out your problems for you - just emailed them about it a couple of days ago enquiring about it.

Earlier versions were but SLCD now.

Not as good of a deal as my Desire HD, I pay £25 a month and get 800min and 3000 texts

I'm voting warm though as this is a fantastic phone

when do they take the first payment ?

I'm also on the hunt for a standard Desire....I'm gutted I didn't go for the quidco/orange promo...£17.50/mth x 24mths + £50 handset - £80 quidco = £390total

HD every day of the week and twice on Sundays.
Awesome phone.

I need 1200 mins / and looking for desire HD
any recommendation ?

I've just signed up for 24 months with Orange 24 months, 500 mins, unlimited texts and internet £25, that's for a HTC desire , no fee. I'm told the HD version eats the battery and what is it needed for? Gonna watch a movie on your phone often?

Sheesh, you can get the HD or Z with 900 mins / 3gb data for £30pcm. I'd rather pay the extra £6pcm.

HD every day of the week and twice on Sundays.Awesome phone.

Why? TBH it comes down to "do i want a big phone" given the specs are the same (even the screen resolution) bar a larger screen..

Sorry, I'll clarify:
It's awesome in comparison to my SE W810i (which I've had for ages because it was awesome). I've seen and played with a standard desire but cannot make a direct comparison of awesomeness although I did my homework before getting the HD and it is widely regarded as superior, if bulky.

Vodaphone are doing mine at £20 a month 18 month contract, unlimited texts and data, 300 mins talktime. I threatened I was leaving, took it to the very last stage of negotiations and they came up trumps!!

under £20 to sign up for 2 years....

Got the non-HD Desire, and couldn't give a monkey's about the HD version for how much it would come in to use during the life of the phone. Not saying HD is no good, but it's definitely overrated. Would only buy the HD if it was the same prices as the standard model.

Don't get me wrong, have whatever you like but look at the specs for each there's nothing in it aside from the larger screen (and then it comes down to whether you prefer a bit bigger screen or higher pixel density). Both are great phones you can't go wrong.

Higher camera resolution, newer version of Android, 300% more ROM, 50% more RAM, I believe.
Probably doesn't amount to much but I'll still pray at the temple of its awesomeness.

My wife doesn't love me any more.

Man the picture used for this deal keeps misleading moi ~ ! Looks like a Desire HD. Speaking of which, I've got one and the speed of it is amazing. If you're willing to pay 25 a month for two years, then go for it. The value of the phone will hardly decrease should you want to unofficially upgrade during this time.

Oh and heh at the guy saying no difference between the HD and non version. There's plenty, including camera quality, RAM, processor, esign, etc, etc.
