This could be a new budget favourite at this price and a decent looking phone too.

Stand out from the crowd with dual tone design

Not only is the HTC Desire 620 comfortable to hold, it looks great. It's made using a double shot technique, which turns multicolour parts into a single device. And the dual tone design means your phone will stand out from everyone else's.

See the things you love in HD, on the 5 inch touchscreen display

Everything is always better on a bigger screen. That's why the HTC Desire 620 comes with a bright 5 inch HD display. It's perfect for watching videos, browsing the web, playing games and seeing everything just the way it was meant to be seen.

Take great shots from both sides

The HTC Desire 620 comes equipped with two cameras. You can take impressive selfies with the 5 megapixel front facing camera. It even has a built-in countdown mode, so you can get your pose just right. And you can use the 8 megapixel rear camera with auto focus and an LED flash, to capture everything that's going on in front of you.

Don't be left waiting for things to happen

Powered by a quad-core processor, the HTC Desire 620 has the power to handle lots of things at the same time. Watch videos, play games and flick between your apps in an instant. And when you connect to O2 4G, you can stream and browse quicker than before.

Get everything you need straight to your home screen

Fill your home screen with all your favourite content with HTC BlinkFeed. Get automatic updates from news and social media feeds, so you'll always know what's going on. And with HTC BoomSound and the two front facing speakers, you can hear your favourite music as it's meant to be heard.

Why doesn't the HTC Desire 620 come with a charger?

We're working to try and reduce waste. And as 70% of people already have a USB charger at home, we've decided to not include one with your phone. If you do need a charger, add one at a discounted price - you can do this after choosing your tariff. O2 does not make money from selling the charger separately

Seems decent for the price with good front and back cameras, if not had 2gb ram but still decent.

How about the cost of unlocking?

I lost me phone the other day and was wondering if anybody knows of any decent sim free or pay as u go phones in Argos as I have about £150 in gift vouchers.

S4 Mini and LG G3 S (LG G3 Mini) are both £199.99 SIM free from Argos and are 4G phones. If you can stretch to the G2, that is a cracking phone.

Well said. I too have been waiting for the 2gb or 4gb (dependant on price) of the Asus Zenfone 2. The true best budget phone to replace the current best budget phone (Moto G). Impressive specs aside the illusion cases you can get for the phone are extremely pleasant to look at. Especially the blue illusion case. Anyone who knows anything about phones will tell you the Asus Zenfone 2 is THE phone to look out for this year if you are on a budget.

Some will say the Archos 50 Diamond but I have never been impressed with Archos as a manufacturer because of the rubbish customer service they've provided over the years and they're...French. Not to mention the Snapdragon 615 is not as impressive as it sounds even though it is an octacore.

Asus has been a brand that has stood out for me with its impressive builds for Nexus and the fact I've been buying Asus PC components for a long time now and they've always impressed me. Asus + Intel = Marriage made in Heaven. They should be giving these away at a very reasonable price too considering Intel want a bigger share of the Android market.

Moto G 5'' has confirmed Lolilop update and it is Dual SIM.
Also a lot cheaper. No 4G

Not sure how better it is otherwise, I suspect the HTC has better screen and maybe battery life?
Also 4G (LTE).

Rear camera, front camera. Sense much nicer than Vanilla Android, better sound, nicer looking...

Lol ignore that idiot. Asus Zenfone 2 needs a UK release date. All I keep getting on their Asus UK Twitter page is 'Expected Q2'. Best answer I got was March from one of their representatives. Should give me enough time to get rid of all my old phones and put aside some money for it.

Ive got to agree with you.
No info yet expect march or april and hope 4gb version only £50.00 or so more than 2gb.

ud be better getting a grade a htc one for around 160 or even a grade b lg g3 for around 220 this is a basic phone.if 4g wasnt suchcan issue u cud get geonee elife e7 from china.its 125.has snapdragon 800.fantastic 16meg camera.3gig ram and comes in blue

From user experience, Is this phone better than the motog? I had a motog and stopped using it after 6 months. Was good to start off with but felt sluggish later. Currently using a windows phone but it doesnt feel as good as android.

ZenFone 2 seems like a really good phone but I absolutely hate that metallic sheen design and the rear control thing seems like it would be a bit weird...
Think I'm gonna look around and wait for a 620 in white to get a little cheaper
