Thanks for your input.

Good deal but this is my issue.. ... Is this snapdragon 615 100 quids worth of better performance over a snapdragon 400 device like the moto g? My family owns several devices which are SD400 and SD8xx... I'm a technology fan and I would say the moto g does 90% of what my OnePlus One does as well, despite the massive spec increase between the devices.

Looks like a very good phone!

For anyone who wants to see a review, this is from Android Authority:

have some heat hulk

Is this really better than the One+One? £18 difference for way better spec.

The HTC is priced at the level of much better phones. Yes it has a larger screen than many around the £250 mark, but a lower resolution. Other than the HTC name is it a better mobile?

On paper, no. Might be different if you were to use both devices, the experiences will be different. this is all subjective. read my post #3

I agree, just that there is a lot of choice at the moment in this price area. LG G3 on Amazon for £15 more, ZTE 6 for £70 less. Not sure paying more for less is the best thing.

"5% off Hotpoint and Indesit Dishwashers using eCoupon" ...

Isnt this a mobile phone?

Specs <> Experience

still overpriced for the spec especially the screen resolution which is very low for a screen that size
better off buying a lg g2 for similar or less money....cold

Yeah I'm gonna have to agree with the masses for once, there are just too many alternatives from major brands at a similar price point to this that are better equipped, not to mention the phones from the up and coming manufacturers. HTC weren't always a leading light in mobiles, they all have to start from somewhere so I'm not gonna write them off

I have a zte blade s6 which uses the same sd 615 clocked at the same speeds and it definitely is a vast improvement over my moto g 4g. I can play more graphic intensive games without any lag and everyday general use seems a lot more fluid tbh including opening and switiching between many open apps ( even after i have filled the phone up with lots of apps etc). My blade s6 has minimal bloatware, similar to the moto g but I am not sure how much htc s bloatware affects the overall performance.
There is also the xperia M4 to consider which is in another post priced at (pre order) £188 with similar specs

not everyone is a multi tasking user though - you sound like a fairly heavy user who would defo benefit from the latest flagship phones with 3gb of ram. i honestly think most people won't be able to tell the difference. 2gb ram on this 820 matters though oh blimey!
