quidco currently states: £60 for a completed pay monthly mobile phone contract with free gift

this contract has option for a free gift

so 24months (free gift as 6 months free line rental*) x £22.50 = £540 (without quidco)
540 - 60 (quidco) = £480 (with quidco)

* 6 months free line rental is only claimable by cashback redemption scheme more info here:

I know someone on a similar deal to yours except he gets 500min and pays £27.50pm. Still the deal posted beats any contract I have seen so far for desire hd - £480 is a bargain if quidco payout

how is this better than the deal posted? £23.44 pcm x 24 months - £40 quidco = £522, whereas posted deal is £480 with quidco

yours is a £30 pm contract with the hope you will get the cash back
Mine is a £25 pm contract with smaller cash back so less risk.

And the bit that does it for me

100 more mins
500mb more data

I am using well over 500mb data every month on my HTC Touch

Erm, hello, sorry if this isn't the 'done thing', but I was hoping for some advice, I am desperate to buy one of these for my hubby (can't afford an iPhone!), but I just don't understand all the package jargon, especially, what is a 'data bundle' and what does all the mb allowance mean? Is that speed of internet or the usage you're allowed? (sorry, I am clueless)

Basically he will not make many calls (300 mins would be ample), fairly low text usage (500 is plenty), but he does like to use apps and browse the internet, I am so scared of getting the wrong deal, but really want to be able to surprise him on Xmas day, as he'll never think I'll organise this

Thank you, sorry if this is cheeky

Allowance is the quota for internet usage. 500mb is perfectly adequate for an average user. Don't worry about packages. The best deal to consider without cashback is most likely the phones 4 u deal.

Hope that helps.

That's a massive help, thank you, I am going to be brave and phone around a few providers to see what I can get as I think that's pushing it for Christmas delivery. I genuinely really appreciate your help, thank you x
