Thats fine, I personally would rather buy from a company I know, but its down to personal preference of course.

Save £300 and got the Orange San Francisco! £74 after Quidco and "NUS" discount and can be unlocked for $3! Woo hoo!

Seems expensive for an old phone. Desire HD release early October which will probably push this price down.

I got this from o2 store for £319.99 - Pay as you go. Great phone BTW.

PLus it has a smaller battery! The Desire lasted about half day anyway, now make up you own conclusions what would happen to the Desire HD

Actually the battery problems are user-induced, i've had it a month and was sceptical before buying for that very supposed battery issue, but I have honestly realised that with a 16 hour initial charge and within 2-3 weeks of a full charging cycle (lithium) and with certain settings tweaked on the phone itself the battery life can easily last a day and a half, obviously if u want to stream HD video for hours on end then it wont, but neither will ANY other phone apart from 1 sony phone, I forget the model. Basically don't let it put u off buying the phone, its the best phone I have ever had. rant over
