I know a guy who's got about 36 of these. He'll sell them for about £200 each if anyone wants one let me know.........

.........
Who's the douche bag who bought 36 of them?!?!
what a ****...
36 bought by s***1. Hmm, I wonder what the 3 *'s stand for?
I'm guessing it was an inside job. (but boss, we put them on ebay, for anyone to buy. Look, here's the expired listing...)
Hotukdeals is always limited by great deals, someone greedy will always crash a website, buy all the stock and alert companies to mistakes. Best to keep the best deals to yourself and close friends and family.
Not very many ebay traders have over £3000 pound sitting ready in their account to buy like this,so I suspect he must have been tipped off before they were listed.
PC world should reject his attempt

Why would they do that?
If I have 30 of something I want to sell at £xx and someone buys them all in one go, saving me money on postage and staff time, then they would be welcome to them

Part of selling stuff at discount is not just to shift stock, it's to build a customer base and generate repeat custom. With that consideration 36 happy customers who may repeat buy are better than 1 customer who is just looking to turn over your stock for a quick profit.

Much as I would love one of these, it is my small hope that the person who bought these works for an educational establishment. However, I 99% think it was a Curry's employee who has bought them to sell for a tidy £100ish extra per device (insert expletive here!)

The updater and the buyer will be one and the same person.

And is probably a manager too.
Did OP list this after the villain of the piece had already snaffled the lot? Hmmm. All a bit fishy
Missus is complaining to Currys instore today, boiling mad after being told at Tesco store a few days ago they had no on offer Shark steam mops only to be told by sister-in law who was there later that morning she noticed staff paying for loads of them at the tills. She insists instore staff have become very greedy and won't even look in the warehouse now, even when she tells them she has phoned ahead and checked stock,

Kudo to your wife!! It would be more productive if people posting their frustration on here to actually all go to currys eBay website/ head office and make their complaint so the sale is not honoured or at least stop such practice in the future. Is the reason why we are all on hukd, so everyone has a chance of a good deal?

There's no point at complaining in store, they have nothing to do with Curry's policies regarding the Ebay store --
email the executive team.

And previous assumptions are right, could have been a job with inside knowledge.
Email can be found on ceoemail.com/
I sent them the following complaint:

Dear Currys/PC World

I would to make a complaint about the above item sold on your eBay website. It would appear ONE person purchased 36 of HTC Nexus tablets. This I understand would be against your interest if not your policy, not to mention other frustrated customers. Indeed many on some public forums e.g., hotukdeals.com are very angry.

Surely it is your business practice to want to have a more broader base customers. How this could then be achieved if so many such items are sold to just one customer! For this reason, several potential customers suspect some kind of insider dealing.

Your explanation would be kindly appreciated

Many thanks for your attention.

Regards
