As someone who wanted to purchase either an HTC Desire or an HTC Legend but on pay as you go I struggled. Very few places do these for sale on pay as you go.

Likewise, the Legend is contract exclusive to vodafone or you can buy it sim free for about £350. This seams like a pretty good deal to me for this handset considering its £350ush new.

Its almost £100 off and its brand new condition. It may be used, but it will be absolutely immaculate and if you are lucky enough to live near a CeX then you can just look before you buy or get it shipped up to your local store.

Yes but that might have been a B or possibly C condition one. This is Condition A

Cex describes these as "A Mint - Working phone in as new/mint condition. Complete with original box and accessories as sold new."

Something to think about....

They sell for this phone for £240. But they pay only £120 to buy it!

Why did someone sell this model of phone for £120 if it was "mint" AND fully working when it would have made the best part of £300 on an auction site or even on HUKD? Is it really OK? Or has it been "down the toilet" or through a "rinse cycle"?

And I know CEX say 12 months guarantee....having dealt with them, the best of luck if there is a problem. Customer Service is non-existant and rude. They will even ignore/dismiss Trading Standards communications.

You have to ask yourself why that phone was sold to them at such a low price. No such thing as a free lunch. If it sounds too good to be true, it usually is.

One more thing I should have mentioned. Click on the "CEX Review" link in this very post if you think it's just my opinion.

Bear in mind that the Legend is pretty much just a Hero (aka T-Mobile G2 Touch) with a few minor tweaks; LED flash, metal case and IR touchpad instead of a small trackball. I suppose it does stand a chance of getting an official release of Android 2.2 from HTC, though.

EDIT: OK, pocket-lint.com/new…ero lists a few more differences. It's not quite on a par with other Android handsets released in 2010, though.
