Great phone and nice price
This is a Hot UK Deal.
Argh I wasted 240 bones on an iPhone, when I could've had this.

I had this phone for a week before I lost it... I've got the Galaxy S4 now...

The galaxy S4 lasts longer and these are what I use: twitter, facebook, whatsapp, music playing most days (mobile data on while out, wifi only when in the house, brightness at full when out and half when indoors)

Overall the HTC one is a better phone though imo the speakers and build quality and UI are better than the samsung (no bias as I have used both phones and will be going back to the HTC once I sell my samsung)....

Hope this helps
Such an amazing phone for this price!
Must resist...
Amazing phone at a good price, I was lucky enough to pick a Sim Locked one up for £250 from EE on PAYG, but managed to unlock it
£250?? where from....

Are you sure that it was the HTC One and not the HTC One mini? if so, explain us how please :-)

If you use it a fair bit you'll be lucky to have it last beyond early evening
I have a micro usb mini lead which I take everywhere in case of an emergency need for charging
great phone though and the S3 I had had a comparative battery life
camera is pants though

I have this phone and have been using it for several months now. It is an amazing phone. I am a heavy user and easily get a day out of it. If not, at least 12 hours (don't forget a day doesn't consist of the hours you are sleeping, more than likely you'd be charging it during this period anyway). The speakers are amazing, the feel of it oozes class. If anyone wants more info then don't hesitate PM'ing me or replying here! well worth the money. Easily the best phone on the market.

S4/HTC One comparisons are merely based on preference. I personally wanted a phone with more cornered edges and something that actually feels like a £500 phone.
What's amazon's return policy, need to send my o2 phone for repair and they say it could be up to 2 weeks away. Won't to get this whilst it's away and then send back when it's repaired
Hopefully the second hand price of this handset will now drop!

You did WHAT? oO

I'd rather keep all my skeletal organs intact, no phone is worth that!

Good deal - heat added.
Just be wary - look at reviews of this particular batch of phones from Amazon
amazon.co.uk/pro…ing
Just remember you will browse applications from top to bottom, unlike most android phones like Samsung Galaxy S4 which is sideways(left to right). The top to bottom style doesn't suit me, it's like reading a book and turn over pages to the top..
Very nice price - paid around that for my HTC One X when it came out which is now worth pennies :(.
I have this phone, its a good price and a good phone but it does get rather hot!
What colours do you guys prefer? Black, Red or Silver?
The price dropped down from around 450 yesterday, I was going to buy this but judging by the reviews these are not unlocked phones as expected, but the comments say they are locked on vodafone and have quite a few problems. The black version doesn't say that in the comments.
What's the benefit of buying a phone like this sim-free when you'll need a sim-only deal as well. Is it not better to get it on an approx. £30 per month deal?

You can actually get some really cheap sim only deals, especially with a loyalty discounts, so for me this would work out at around £23- £25 a month

I've got JuiceDefender (free) installed, set to turn off the data every time the screen is turned off, GPS data turned off unless I need a map, and screen brightness on auto... and I've managed to get 40-hour cycles out of it on occasion, with light use. With moderate use it's definitely easy to get a full day out of it. It's one of the best smartphones I've had for battery life.
Hmmm.... An ok deal but see what happens when you pop the website link into flubit.com. I've always found them to easily beat every price from amazon sometime by 20%
I sold my iPhone 5 64GB for this phone, I got it on contract from 3. When the first one came, it was damaged, second one was fine.

I do however have to say that the experience I had on my iPhone is 50 million times better than the HTC One. But I prefer a bigger screen and front facing speakers, so will keep on using my HTC One. The mail clients are crap, notification centre is a mess, full of bloatware and chrome is laggy. The HTC One has more powerful hardware but it can't match the iPhone's performance because the OS & Apps aren't optimised for the HTC One's hardware.

If Apple come out of a larger iPhone the same size as the HTC One, I will be going straight back.
This is not worth double the price of a nexus 4
