Seems like a good deal - with free beats headphones. Go easy: my first post

It's your first post so have some heat

And some more

Lol , believe it or not stating 'this is my first deal please be gentle 'often (sadly) brings in childish cold votes .Regardless ,good phone , good price , have some flame from me .

seems a good price compared to what other retailers charge but for slightly less money the LG g2 is probably better value for money with better spec

Yup. Heats.

I have this phone. absolutely love it

Yes I have this phone and I also love it - highly recommend. This is a great deal, heat from me too

too big Imho. I've got Note 2 and have to say - even Note is too big. But this is just enormous

Not an iPhone, price is dropping like a stone

ha!

Remember, this isn't a normal HTC One. It's a bloody gigantic one!

Free Beats headphones? Cold.

This and galaxy mega are only 720p screen as they are large budget phones

1,920x1,080?

DisplayThe 5.9-inch display packs in a 1,920x1,080-pixel resolution. … DisplayThe 5.9-inch display packs in a 1,920x1,080-pixel resolution. That's Full HD to me and you. It's also the same resolution you'll find in the standard One, meaning the Max is slightly less sharp as the same number of pixels are being spread across a larger display. The max has a pixel density of 373 pixels per inch, undercutting its smaller sibling's 446ppi.

I also have this phone, it is simply the best phone I've had to date, can't fault it. The battery seems to last forever too.

has it got the 2300mh battery like the HTC m7?

peaceboi

3300mAh actually, but it is a very large device.

Cheaper on Amazon , or have I missed something.

My bad. Lol. Thats the reason I never went for htc one max. I thought it was same as galaxy mega. I may have a think about this... or wait for the note 4 as I have a note 2 at the moment and love my big screen phones

It's a shame they didn't use S800 chipset, that would have almost sealed the deal for me. Plus they took out the OIS from the camera... strange choices.

That's a bargain!

Does anyone know how much the beats are worth? I see similar ones on Amazon for £79. Surely that can't be right?

That sounds more realistic. Are they the same though because on expansys it says average price if 89 euros. Plus the ones on handtec seem to be Monster ones whereas expansys don't mention anything about Monster

Looks like theres a second version of these headphones which are about £80. They have a red B and other red stuff which these don't, so the link I posted is right. RRP could be £80 but who pays RRP.

Yeah I think you're right. The link you posted has a little HTC tag on them so I'm assuming these are made specifically for them. The ones for £80 are the proper ones I guess.

I was tempted to get this instead of the Amazon deal and sell the beats but since they aren't really worth much and this is an EU model, Amazon is probably a better idea.

Forgive my ignorance - why is the fact that it is an EU model a detriment to the purchase? From my point of view it seems that there is no difference except for the EU plug (they provide an adapter to work in UK plugs anyway). Are there other factor(s) I'm not seeing? Thanks

Surely the xperia z ultra for £244.99 on expansys is a much better deal? Similar size and much better processor / gpu.

I think the software version could be different and warranty would be EU warranty so might need to send elsewhere, I'm not entirely sure. Then, the plug is EU as you said. Amazon is also cheaper and I get prime shipping. If the beats are worth £40-50 it is worth it but they will probably sell on ebay for less than £20 so it's not really worth the hassle for me.
