Sorry, the phones free as well

Bit more info, network is T-mobile, contract term is 24 months.

Sorry

Best deal I've seen so far on a 24 month contract. Due upgrade so trying to see what deal I can get for this out of T-mobile, not holding out much hope though!

Original Poster

Different phone though?

Anyone knows if I can reduces the Internet to 250 mb through t-mobile. The deal on the website with 250 mb requires £129 upfront.

This is the best deal I've seen on that phone. Does anyone know ... I've got an orange contract that expires 22may, can I port my no. before the contract ends or do I have to wait?

Well I don't use 3G connection that much. I only use it in bus and trains. Although 500 mb would be ideal but not showing on the deal's website

Ring orange, ask for a port number, they should issue one, order your new phone, when it arrives, ring the service provider on your new phone , give them the port number, and in a couple of days time your number will have transferred and orange will invoice you for what ever is left to pay on the old contract..

No it's not like O2 where you can reduce the plan

I've just contacted them and they have received thier shipment of Htc one x phones and they are shipping today.. Whoop

HOT!

also looks like £30 cash back from quidco?

quidco.com/buy…es/

Great deal gogo! however consider the other deals available for the same price, you can get less minutes more data or less data more minutes to suit your needs for the same price!

who actually provides the handset? is it t-mobile or buymobilephones. as t-mobile will not be getting this handset before the end of the month.

was hoping to order direct, as i can get £80 cashback

I've just spoken to T-mob this morning and the lady told me they've had an email advising them it will be available from 09 April but they may have it from 05 April possibly. She's made a note to call me when they've got it on their system to discuss my upgrade.

I'm not exactly reducing the plan, just the Internet data.

For 2 more quid a month you get the same mins but Unlimited data from Three. It is better deal IMO. Tether all you want to your tablet or PC

250mb would be enuff imo as tmobile dont charge you for going over. buymobilephones get all their handsets unlocked so they get them before tmobile.. The problem with 3 is if there is no 3g signal you have no 2g fallback as they stoped thrre agreement with orange!

Where is that deal?

I want it!!!!!!!!! lol.

Tempted but not sure if better deals will come soon after release

Want one of these but might be tempted to see what the S3 is like.

Oops. Yes, it was too good to be true Sorry, my bad, it was for the One S. Still a better deal as One S is not far off One X as long as you don't mind the PenTile AMOLED.

this is a great price! tempted to get rid of my desire hd for this!! but ive heard once again the battery is bad on this! anyone confirm?

Don't think anyone has one of these, model is just being released and mobile phone shops don't even seem to have the dummy phones on display (as yet)

Engadget gave this a rave review and apparently the benchmarks are through the roof

Battery life a little short but I rooted my Desire and that quickly sorted out this issue

Heat added!

SUCH AN AMAZING PHONE!

Hot! But the lack of external storage really puts me off this phone. Otherwise would have snapped it up bigtime!

That and the fact you can't swap the battery. My current HTC Desire (that I've had for 2 years) won't last the whole day with heavy use but at least I can carry a spare battery. The One series are going to be battery killers so it means using it sparingly on long trips away from a power socket.

32gb is enough. Amazing deal btw this phone is awesome

You get 25gb free dropbox for 2 years so storage shouldn't be an issue really. And they have released a new firmware update in the last few days to deal with the battery issue as well so I'm told.

Being quad core, it should actually be better on power than the sensation.

Yep this is also my position at the moment, want to have a look at both phones in the flesh before getting one.

There's a good review here.

The battery capacity and the fact it's non-removable is what puts me off this phone. There's a review from SlashGear on YouTube where the reviewer says that he got 12 hours and 40 minutes of battery life out of this phone with "conservative to moderate use" then he goes on to say that he charged the phone, left it on standby for 8 hours over night, then he got 6½ hours of usage in the day. To me that's really not good enough as I can't swap the battery out for a spare fully charged one. I love everything else about this phone though and I'm still kinda tempted, but I think I'm going to have to wait for something powerful, but with a higher mAh battery, to come out.

I voted hot anyway, cos the price is great for this phone. I expected it to be far more expensive than it's turning out to be.

Just waiting out for what Samsung release, if the rumours are true it will dominate this!
