Ok, so this is an excellent deal for any high end user who gets signal with Three where they're based. It's on Three's One plan for £25pm with an upfront cost of £118. It comes with a free iPod 2GB shuffle if you use the code below. You also get £40.40 cashback through TCB

2000 Minutes
5000 texts
5000 3-3 mins
All You Can eat data (Unlimited data + Tethering)
24 month contract
HTC One X White handset- £117.99
£25.00pm

Delivery est: Within 2-3 days of order being processed

Use code- AFM00004 - for free iPod Shuffle 2GB Via redemption (worth £40rrp)
OR
Use Code- AFMW00001 for three months half price via redemption (worth £37.50)
Go through TCB for £40.40 cashback
topcashback.co.uk/aff…es/

Other
This contract is £38pm on Three's official website/stores.

Phone comes locked to Three UK, it can be unlocked for £15.32 from them or for £1.44 from ebay here- hotukdeals.com/tag/dea…641

The free iPod shuffle can be claimed by returning the claims form with your first bill within the first 90 days. The claims form comes in the phone box.

This can also be had through Affordable Mobiles with no upfront cost for £31pm, still cheaper than Three's offering. -affordablemobiles.co.uk/con…334

DON'T FORGET TO REMOVE THE INSURANCE FOR £8PM IF YOU DON'T WANT IT- Can be done by clicking the X next to it- See screenshot below.

This can also be a good way to get a sim only One Plan if you don't need the phone. You can sell the phone for £480, the ipod for £30, TCB is £40. Which means that you save £550. Leaving £168 to be paid off. 168/24 is £7.00. So it could be a good sim only deal as the One plan is £25pm sim only with Three. But here you can get it for a theoretical £7.00pm

The best I had seen before this was the 500 mins, 5000 texts and unlimited data for £29 and a free phone. This easily beats that with the iPod shuffle (£40) and £4 a month less for the 24 months (£96) and 1500 extra minutes and tethering which would cost extra on other plans. (not to mention cash back) Certainly eases the £117.99 up front charge.

I've cancelled my 02 order to take this, going to give the sim to my son (3 do a cap on spend)

30 quid for all you can eat. I am not convinced about the iPod...you don't really need it if you have this phone

Will vote hot this time due to the phone and the plan.

Three signal is crap round here, however if its ok you you this is an all right deal. HEAT

Think I will go for this once in stock - how the heck did you find this on the site? I cant see it without using your link?

very good deal if you need that many minutes and Three is good for you. heat added.

No more iPod on the deal mentioned by the OP.............

@Phatbhoy- I got sent the direct link from a friend.

mmm, just tried that and it wouldn't add it. Cheers OP, will try again.

Don't think so mate. Only a few companies did the wireless MHL promo as a pre order bonus. Don't think many companies are doing it now that the phone is out.

In answer to your second question, technically yes. You cannot upgrade through Three as they will quote you the £38pm standard price (you could try haggling through retentions first but i doubt they'll go much lower for a new phone) So you'd have to take out a new contract through affordable mobiles. Then once your current contract with three is up you ring 333 and get them to convert your old contract into a Pay As You Go Number. Then you can port over your old number onto this new contract using the Online form/customer services.

ok cool, thanks for the reply....

Really tempted as great price compared to the rest of the deals out there......

Supermod

Thanks for posting. As we don't include cash back as it isn't guaranteed, I have updated your price to show the total amount payable over the course of the contract.

Definitely hot, finally a smartphone contract that is actually usable!

To contrast, the following deal got voted almost 700 degrees and that offers far less minutes and only 750Mb of data (albeit no upfront cost).
hotukdeals.com/dea…468

ordered the £31 deal with same "One Plan" and no upfront costs.£7 cheaper than direct from Three. thank you very much.
ipod will be useful for gym sessions.

Thank you for posting the deal. HOT! My only queries are: has anyone used affordable mobiles before and if so, are they reliable? Also, does anyone know when they get the One X in stock?

I haven't used AM myself. But i know a couple of people who've gone through them in the past and had no problems.

Do they take handset money on order or despatch? (despatch is clearly going to be around a week from now) Thanks

Out of interest how do you know it will come unlocked?
I can't see any description tell me it is on the page?

Hope this answers those questions.
Also i know they come unlocked because my friends phones came unlocked as well.

Thanks for answering those questions

Are their handsets unlocked? Or, for example in this deal, will the phone be locked to 3?

You have your despatch notice? The phone is saying in stock now on the website which looks promising.

The other three deal (Ultimate 500 @ £29) works in at around £20 cheaper than this one and no handset cost, but this is a much better contract deal to have for two years, and to try and haggle with in two years for an upgrade.

Thanks for that, I have yet to receive a further email since placing an order last night. Will wait till tomorrow afternoon and give them a ring if no progress.

Have cancelled my current 3 plan and placed an order, lets see what happens. Can't believe the 30 minute call to them scaring me with the handset will be 2nd hand, if we can't offer you the deal them how can they? And the price will all of a sudden go up per month and we can't do anything as the phone deal was bought through a 3rd party.

4+1 CPU, how is the battery life?

Any decent deals around which include the HTC media link up?

You know that ipod's not exactly worth it, but its still added onto the price you pay most likely. Though the phone is still decent....good specs.

They were mainly for pre-orders from certain retailers. You won't get them anymore, unless you are lucky. Somebody mentioned that they took out a contract with Phones 4 U or Carphone warehouse and got £40 cashback because they asked for one, might be worth a try.

Sounds about right for Three, bunch of liars. They tried exactly the same with my wife when she wanted to leave them, out of contact, for a better deal with Tesco. It took about four calls before she finally got her PAC code from them.

Guess I should be a lot firmer next time, tried to see if they had a retentions deal, someone mentioned a price drop of £31 through three instead of £38 on another website but they didn't budge at all.

Hot

Affordable Mobiles will take your money on the day of ordering, if out of stock they will not inform you of any progress unless you call them on a 0845 number to chase them. If you request a refund it will take 5 working days, some have had to wait longer. GOOD LUCK.
