This blows the wildfire s out of the water! I had one, loved it! But I am a little biased, I love windows phone!
Relation has one of these, perfect phone if you just want internet browsing but are not an app fiend. I think the Nokia 710 feels a little cheaper than this but it does have the advantage of Nokia Music/Drive, if you're not bothered on those then the Radar is perfect.
can you upgrade via telephone? what do u need to do so?
i have a sim only deal but need a new phone will they let me buy this at this price if i go instore ?

worth giving them a ring they can only say no
Where is this deal?

Another generic link to a website as opposed to the actual deal.

Typical.

So they've got a deal they don't adverfise on their website.

If by chance you wander into one of their stores, you can get the deal.

Genius.
This or a HTC Mozart?

Why all the hostility and sarcasm? Someone posts a deal to try and help others and gets a response like this - your avatar seems perfect, if the nail is your head.

Do you mean 'did I buy one of these phones for £79.95'? No, but then I haven't tried. Thank you for asking.
very nice phone for this price, great built
Bought one of them on monday, with a Orange paygo sim upgrade for £79.95, nice phone and unlocked.
Take it or leave it Gallus. There is a P4U on every high street, its hardly tough to find.

Stop trolling.
Cold - no extended memory card slot

HTC Mozart was £71.96 last week when i upgraded in store at P4U,they are both great phones but
decided on the mozart as it suited me better personally, but not much between them.
Beyond the realms of your average 65 year old's use?
Acracking deal without a doubt, but just unsure if it's suitable...
Here it is vs a Mozart phonearena.com/pho…911

I would say the radar is a lot better!

And yeah why not for a 65 year old? It's a phone that's easy to use with bright big onscreen buttons go into store and ask to try one

I would say go for it, brilliant phone!
Not sure if I'm eligible for this upgrade? Got 11 months of vodafone sim only deal left to run. Also an unused virgin PAYG sim lying around. And a couple of samsung android phones that I alternate between. ??

It's shopping the old fashioned way
Right im going to sound like a dumb ass here! But how does a pay as you upgrade work? Currently got the Lumia 710 bought from carphone last money but feels like a fisher price toy compared to the HTC!

just need tell them that you have a pay as you go sim (from major supplier like o2, orange), and usually they ask if you have topped up the card recently, say yes. and thats it.

Radar is great, the battery life and build quality is just super, the glass on radar is Gorilla glass so its scratch resistant.
Don't you have to give your mobile number though so they can check?
heat added own this phone since March bought it from orange £99 works great easy to use. unlocked for £1.39 on ebay still have it and happy to keep it as long as possible

Are you sure? i phoned up my local store and they said that you need to have been using the payg sim for some time before you qualify (but didn't say how long)

I did - grabbed one for my daughter yesterday. Both Phones4U stores I went to had these advertised outside the store as being at that price.
what if battery needs to be changed, on the review it says battery is inbuilt and cant remove ?

Correction, they didn't. they do now, the lumia 820 has a microSD slot :P
Cheers 1iam5...

May take a risk. It's a pressie for the old fella's birthday so we can't really get him to try it without spoiling the surprise.
And it'll have to do for his retirement as well... I'm not ruddy made of money. Heheh!

Ooh, I'm going to take a shot at that tomorrow! Got an Orange SIM that I only use for Orange Wednesdays but I like the sound of this phone. Cheers

Yeah that put me off getting the Radar along with a few other things like the lower quality camera and lack of compass/ navigation maps,£79.95 for the Radar or £71.96 for the Mozart, take your pick.
