Same deal as the current HTC Sensation deal, but £20.00 cheaper.
The Galaxy S2 price is also the same as the one that got really hot, 3 weeks back!

Both are £30.00 a month, for 12 months.

Click on the "Talkmobile Deals" tab

Talkmobile Smart plan 400 (12 Months)
With 400 mins & 1000 texts + 1GB data per month

My first deal, so if I missed something, please tell me =)

Also, £30 cashback possible from Quidco or TCB. *This may be unavailable, not sure*

Found If you click through the link above, it should go to the "Exclusive deals" section.
Then click on the Talk mobile tab and the 2 phones should be there.

Apparently the phone costs include VAT and it will come unlocked, according to staff at mobiles.co.uk. Not sure how reliable this information is though as they might be referring to the £119.99 handset.

Oh I can't b****y decide... maybe I should just wait for the evo...
Anybody know how I can get around to buying this thing?

I just tried and I got declined for some reason regarding my credit rating. Something about not being able to verify me/ my address.

How long have you been at the address? Are you on the voters roll?

Don't keep trying, the more times you're declined the harder it is to get a contact.

The evo is not as good as you might think:
youtube.com/wat…PWc
I've been living there since I was born, so 18 years. I'm pretty sure I'm also on the votes roll as I did the registration stuff at school like a year ago.

I just had to try again, but this time I put myself down as student-part time as I work for my parents everyday but thought that this wouldn't be required so the first time I just put myself down as a student, as I'm going to university in September.

If this fails, you think it's worth phoning up as I really want this phone?
SGS2 IS £120

You could try, but I'm fairly sure they don't work weekends.

If you've little or no credit history, that could be the problem. Its a high value item and I'd guess they're weighting the credit application to a highish score. So even calling them may not get you through the process.

Been with Orange for over 15yrs and the best they can offer for loyalty upgrades is £40 for the phone on £25pm 18month contract, but it gives you 1000 any network any time minutes unlimited landlines and 500Mb of data.

Now just need a cover like this one but preferably 1/20th of the price;

thanks op just contemplating on which one to get i might end up ordering the two scorching hot by the way
Can anyone explain the refunds procedure in taking out one of these 'e2save' or 'mobiles.co.uk' deals?

I am planning on taking my current number to these 12 month deals using my PAC number.

I have heard Vodafone Talk mobile can be problematic in Glasgow. If I use my cooling off period of 7 days to determine if the network is good enough then what happens to my number if I decide to get a refund?

Do I get a new PAC straight away which will be valid for 30 days and will I have to pay the Talk mobile line rental for 30 days?

I can't be the only person who wants to know how this works so any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks!
Can anyone comment on the quality and reliability of Talk Mobile? Also is the 30 pounds a month inclusive of VAT? I read in the other thread (expired, but was exactly the same deal) that someone ordered the S2, and on their first bill, they were charged 36 pounds, which makes sense if this is 30+VAT...

Cheers for the advice, just came home and at that very moment a guy from Mobiles.co.uk called and said that they'd be able to process the order provided I accepted a £50 deposit which will be paid back from my monthly fees.

Hopefully all goes well now X)
Quidco is £ 46 for the e2save deal and £ 30 for this one, so the difference is ~ 4 quid......anyone?
I heard the white Galaxy S2 will come out soon, so if you want that just wait a little (from Mobot website).
Voted Hot.

Cracking deal for what are currently the two best android phones on the market.

i went through the exact same **** as you. Despite having phenomenal credit rating i failed their check. same thing they couldn't verify my address. we've lived here 6+ years but mobiles.co.UK claimed i wasn't on the electoral roll... funny that, i still seem to get my council tax and voting slips here.

Anyway to get around it i had to send in a scan of my most recent bank statement and everything was fine.

Quidco is playing up with it though so file a dispute if it doesn't track.
Now I cant choose between Galaxy S2 and HTC Sensation.. LOL.
hi,

do you need a PAC code before ordering or can you use a PAC after the fones been delivered?
Anyone know?

Thanks
t
Yes best to get your PAC before you order....Is this £30 + vat or inclusive per month - Can`t find confirmation of this on www? Cracking deal - Have some heat!
Grrrr. No internet coverage where I work and outdoor call signal only!!!!!
Looks like I'll have to go with a different network.
Gutted because this is a scorcher of a deal!
e2save are much better at tracking quidco compared to mobile.co.uk
Cracking Deal..BUT is this £30 inc vat www site doesn`t confirm either way from what I can see?....from experience get your PAC before ordering.....8)
Very good phones, but i would like to wait unto later this fall to see what Apple decides to launch as its new handset.

if that's what you are intending on doing then why are you looking at this deal nevermind posting on it.

Btw... its Autumn in the UK, not fall

Got a desire by any chance?
In the same boat as you and will probably do similar. Definitely going to be another android, but the phone market might spring a better and greater bargain by that time... A few months are a long time in the phone market.
With any luck, iPhone five be released and will push the prices down for us non-iSheep
Very good deal. 3 months left on contract. Must r-e-s-i-s-t.

Oh, and the Sensation has just got root access.
These handsets are unbranded and unlocked right ?
This is a fantastic deal! Should be 1000 degrees by now. Personally would opt for the sensation and feel a bit foolish buying that desire s for nearly the same money a few months ago

I got the galaxy s2 on the last deal and had to send it back and order again as you cannot port your number once the contracted has started,
So if your wanting to port make sure you do it at checkout and ring and confirm!
I've got the s2 and love it. i do question the build quality. moving from a nexus 1 you can feel a drop in build quality so id assume the sensation has the edge there. that being said the s2 has a phenomenal screen, visible even in the brightest sunlight.

Id suggest (and the reviews seem to bear it out) that the s2 is THE phone to have but the sensation is a very close second... even closer with root access.

How easy was it to send back the phone and get a refund? I am concerned about the reception of Vodafone in my area and I want to try it out before I keep it past the 7 day cooling off period.
