Was a good price at £297 but now even better with a £50 cut. Click and collect or postage from £2.95. I'm sure everyone knows the specs by now, still a top of the range phone with dual core, expandable memory and upgradable to ICS.

Also comes with everyone's favourites, Dre Beats

Are you ok with the signal on it? There are issues reported with the Sensation antenna like the iphone 4. I really like the Sensation and prefer HTC sense but this 'problem' if it exists put me off. I've had a few Android phones, none of them find and hold a signal like my Blackberry 9780.
Great phone, the recent update fixed the Skype green video problem and lots of custom ROMs for those brave enough to have a dabble.

I got this when it included the beats headphones, which are pretty good, but not essential.

Hot deal, feasible alternative to GS2, probably not quite as good around, but a little less common
I have this phone, its got a higher res screen than the SG2. Great phone hot
Can anyone say what the battery is like on it? And how reliable it's been?

Was holding out for a decent S3 deal but I prefer having a sim free handset and using my own sim and when I saw this price I thought it had to be shared and now I'm quite tempted myself!
This is a steal. I have this phone and couldn't be happier with it
Excellent handset, had one before my One X

You can get an Anker 1900 High Capacity battery from Amazon for about £6 delivered which greatly improves battery life

I also recommend rooting and installation of ARHD ROM which gives full ICS functionality

The phone can also be unlocked for free and everything else from the link below

Very good phone this ! , had one before my S3

its well worth £250,i had no signal issues and the battery last around a day , like most other smart phones
Think this is gonna be a facemelter.
Fantastic phone.

The CPU is faster than the iPhone 4S and can be overclocked further ;-)

But won't run ios.. so does cpu speed really matter
The only downside is the internal memory is 4GB. But this has a micro sd card slot unlike the Google Nexus 7

Surely it matters even more with a less restrictive OS, not that I want to start up the most boring flame war on the internet again.

Voted hot even though I'm waiting for a cheap Xperia S or Galaxy Note.
Purchased. Can't wait. Upgrading from an old desire, wing my tesco sim only in and I'm golden!
£250 in one lump sum for an old phone?

Just take the £36 (minus Quidco) HTC One X deal that has a very usable contract. Won't put a hole in your wallet and you get a newer phone.

Not sure what planet you are on with that advice.. A £36 contract is a massive hole in the wallet. This phone works out at only £20 a month and will be for people that have a sim only contract they are happy with...

E.g. £100 cashback confirmed from my current sim-only contract, plus sell value of my current phone is £150. This means I have £250 to spend on a sim-free mobile at effective zero cost.

I've got an HTC sensation and am pretty happy with it.
The only grouse is the screen could be better in bright sunshine - but that's academic right now. On the upside I think it has a much better build quality than the SGS2.
I'd echo the suggestion to get the higher capacity Anker battery from Amazon. I haven't got around to installing ARHD; but from everything I've seen that's probably the way to go until Jelly Bean comes out either officially or via the xda-developers
Can anyone whom has bought this confirm whether this has the silver case (as pictured). I would consider buying if it was the black case. Thanks

The HTC One X is a significantly better phone. If I had £250 to spend on something it certainly wouldn't be a phone, I'd go on holiday or to a festival or something else fun. It's just a phone.

I'm not going to notice an extra tenner a month coming from my account monthly though. If I have on less pint per week that's covered it.

In the specs on that page it says the colour is white.
Sold mine for 280 and got an S3

Good phone just battery life wasn't great. Get an extended bigger capacity battery, root it and put Evolution HD Rom on it and it will last for couple days
My missus has this and is very frustrated at poor WiFi connectivity. I keep taking the Mickey our of her useless android and telling her to get a Windows Phone. My Nokia Lumia 710 runs rings round her XE in terms of speed, good connection and fluidity.

well, thats true, loosing signal sometimes inside, some places of my house no signal at all but I was thinking it is network problem, no problem outside
I just like Sense 3.6
These were £450 just 6 months ago sod buying an HTC again they lose value way too quick.
Good phone btw and good earphones.

But you see £250 on a phone as a waste of money, yet you are willing to go up to £36 a month on contract for a phone. That is actually £192 more money over 12 months (enough for a holiday). And in my case it's £312 more money over 12 months than my current contract. Sure you could cover it by reducing your other vices but I would rather not have to do that, got a mortgage to pay and all that
What headphones come we this?
Good deal. Not a lot different from my Evo 3D so im not going to get this, but a great deal for someone in need of an upgrade.

It's only £192 more if you ignore the fact that you need to put a sim card into the £250 phone...

I'm not sure what the best sim only deals are the moment, but surely that's going to add £8 - £10 per month? £250 + (£8 x 12) = £346.

Plus the HTC One X is going to be worth a lot more in 12 months time that the HTC Sensation XE. So if you come to sell the phone in 12 months time and get a new one, you'll save a lot more there.

(Just for the record, I wouldn't pay £36 a month for a contract. I'm on a 12 month Xperia Arc S deal which works out at £19 after Quidco/Redemption. That's about my limit. But I'd definitely pay £36 per month over £250 + £8 ish per month, plus having a phone of much higher value at the end of the contract)

I agree about the value of the One X, but at the end of the day it costs more as well. Sim only is very cheap. I got the £10 a month deal with £100 cash back so £20 for the whole year, so there is no value in me seeking a £36 a month contract and likely other people are in the same situation.

Anyway every persons situation is different

wait a few more months and i'm sure this will drop another 30 pounds or so...just likek the HTC 3D Evo...
